| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | There are 4 SPD FAPI Attributes where there are separate FAPI Attributes for DDR3 and DDR4 because the raw data is interpreted differently and the FAPI enumeration matches the raw data. I agreed with Ken Wright that for these, there should be a common FAPI attribute that is handled by an Accessor HWP, the Accessor converts the data appropriately to the common enumeration. Right now the common enumeration matches DDR3 where possible to facilitate Cronus switchover from SPD Driver to Accessor, but eventually this could change. There is also a common PM_SPWUP_OHA_FLAG attribute, this should actually be a HB-only HB_PM_SPWUP_OHA_FLAG attribute. Also, IS_MPIPL_HB is correctly specified as a HB-only attribute, but it was incorrectly listed in target_types.xml. This is part of the fix for SW221921 where FSP was generating duplicate FAPI attribute access macros for the same FAPI attribute. There is also an FSP fix to a Targeting makefile for this defect that is done separately. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The ecmd debug framework support uses cipputmempba to write to Hostboot memory, this was changed some time ago to disallow non cache-line aligned writes. But some tools (e.g. HwpfAttrOverride) do unaligned writes and they therefore fail. Also any tool that calls a Hostboot function using CallFunc will fail because that also does unaligned writes. The emcd team changed cipputmempba to do a read-modify-write for unaligned writes if the inj mode is specified. Also a small fix to HwpfAttrOverride here, it was interpreting a decimal value (the attribute id) as hex which must be due to something changing because this used to work.
