* spl: Support loading a FIT from SPILokesh Vutla2016-05-271-5/+32
| | | | | | | | Detect a FIT when loading from SPI and handle it using the new FIT SPL support. Reviewed-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com> Signed-off-by: Lokesh Vutla <lokeshvutla@ti.com>
* SPL: Let spl_parse_image_header() return valueMarek Vasut2016-05-171-2/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | Allow the spl_parse_image_header() to return value. This is convenient for controlling the SPL boot flow if the loaded image is corrupted. * spl: change return values of spl_*_load_image()Nikita Kiryanov2015-11-181-5/+12
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Make spl_*_load_image() functions return a value instead of hanging if a problem is encountered. This enables main spl code to make the decision whether to hang or not, thus preparing it to support alternative boot devices. Some boot devices (namely nand and spi) do not hang on error. Instead, they return normally and SPL proceeds to boot the contents of the load address. This is considered a bug and is rectified by hanging on error for these devices as well. * sf: Tidy up public and private header filesSimon Glass2014-10-221-0/+1
| | | | | | | | Since spi_flash.h is supposed to be the public API for SPI flash, move private things to sf_internal.h. Also tidy up a few comment nits. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Jagannadha Sutradharudu Teki <jagannadh.teki@gmail.com>
* spl: replace CONFIG_SPL_SPI_* with CONFIG_SF_DEFAULT_*Nikita Kiryanov2014-09-241-2/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently, CONFIG_SPL_SPI_* #defines are used for controlling SPI boot in SPL. These #defines do not allow the user to select SPI mode for the SPI flash (there's no CONFIG_SPL_SPI_MODE, so the SPI mode is hardcoded in spi_spl_load.c), and duplicate information already provided by CONFIG_SF_DEFAULT_* #defines. Kill CONFIG_SPL_SPI_*, and use CONFIG_SF_DEFAULT_* instead.
