* treewide: simplify Kconfig dependencies for removed archsArnd Bergmann2018-03-261-5/+5
| | | | | | | | | | A lot of Kconfig symbols have architecture specific dependencies. In those cases that depend on architectures we have already removed, they can be omitted. * isdn: disable HiSax NetJet driver on microblaze archNicolai Stange2015-06-211-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Fix an allmodconfig compilation failer on microblaze due to big endian architectures being apparently unsupported by the NetJet code: drivers/isdn/hisax/nj_s.c: In function 'setup_netjet_s': drivers/isdn/hisax/nj_s.c:265:2: error: #error "not running on big endian machines now" Modify the relevant Kconfig such that the NetJet code is not built on microblaze anymore. Note that endianess on microblaze is not determined through Kconfig, but by means of a compiler provided CPP macro, namely __MICROBLAZEEL__. However, gcc defaults to big endianess on that platform. * isdn: hisax: Drop duplicate Kconfig entryJean Delvare2014-06-161-5/+0
| | | | | | | | | | There are 2 HISAX_AVM_A1_PCMCIA Kconfig entries. The kbuild system ignores the second one, and apparently nobody noticed the problem so far, so let's remove that second entry. * isdn: hisax: Merge Kconfig ifsJean Delvare2014-06-161-5/+1
| | | | | | | | | | The first half of the HiSax config options is presented if ISDN_DRV_HISAX!=n, while the second half of the options is presented if ISDN_DRV_HISAX. That's the same, so merge both conditionals. Signed-off-by: Jean Delvare <jdelvare@suse.de> Cc: Karsten Keil <isdn@linux-pingi.de> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* isdn: hisax: netjet requires VIRT_TO_BUSArnd Bergmann2013-03-171-2/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Disabling CONFIG_VIRT_TO_BUS on ARM showed that the hisax netjet driver depends on this deprecated functionality but is not marked so in Kconfig. Rather than adding ARM to the already long list of architectures that this driver is broken on, this patch adds 'depends on VIRT_TO_BUS' and removes the dependency on !SPARC, which is also implied by that. * drivers/isdn/hisax: remove depends on CONFIG_EXPERIMENTALKees Cook2013-01-211-8/+7
| | | | | | | | | | The CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL config item has not carried much meaning for a while now and is almost always enabled by default. As agreed during the Linux kernel summit, remove it from any "depends on" lines in Kconfigs. * PCI: push deprecated pci_find_device() function to last userTilman Schmidt2010-02-221-9/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | The ISDN4Linux HiSax driver family contains the last remaining users of the deprecated pci_find_device() function. This patch creates a private copy of that function in HiSax, and removes the now unused global function together with its controlling configuration option, CONFIG_PCI_LEGACY. | | | | | | | | isdnhdlc is useful for other ISDN drivers as well. Move the include file to a central location and the source to the central isdn location. Signed-off-by: Karsten Keil <keil@b1-systems.de>

* Use menuconfig objects - CONFIG_ISDN_I4LTilman Schmidt2007-07-211-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Remove a menu statement and several dependencies from the Kconfig files in the drivers/isdn tree as they have become unnecessary by the transformation of CONFIG_ISDN from "menu, config" into "menuconfig". Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
