* [MIPS] Add support to match more patterns for BBIT instructionStrahinja Petrovic2017-08-301-0/+56
| | | | | | | | | | This patch supports one more pattern for bbit0 and bbit1 instructions, CBranchBitNum class is expanded so it can take 32 bit immidate. Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D36222 llvm-svn: 312111
* [Mips] Fix for BBIT octeon instructionStrahinja Petrovic2017-08-011-12/+21
| | | | | | | | | | | This patch enables control flow optimization for variations of BBIT instruction. In this case optimization removes unnecessary branch after BBIT instruction. Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D35359 llvm-svn: 309679
* [mips] Correct label prefixes for N32 and N64.Daniel Sanders2016-07-191-8/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Summary: N32 and N64 follow the standard ELF conventions (.L) whereas O32 uses its own ($). This fixes the majority of object differences between -fintegrated-as and -fno-integrated-as. * Revert "[mips] Promote the result of SETCC nodes to GPR width."Vasileios Kalintiris2016-03-011-4/+12
| | | | | | | | | This reverts commit r262316. It seems that my change breaks an out-of-tree chromium buildbot, so I'm reverting this in order to investigate the situation further. llvm-svn: 262387
* [mips] Promote the result of SETCC nodes to GPR width.Vasileios Kalintiris2016-03-011-12/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Summary: This patch modifies the existing comparison, branch, conditional-move and select patterns, and adds new ones where needed. Also, the updated SLT{u,i,iu} set of instructions generate a GPR width result. The majority of the code changes in the Mips back-end fix the wrong assumption that the result of SETCC nodes always produce an i32 value. The changes in the common code path account for the fact that in 64-bit MIPS targets, i1 is promoted to i32 instead of i64. * Revert r237789 - [mips] The naming convention for private labels is ABI ↵Daniel Sanders2015-05-201-8/+8

* [mips] The naming convention for private labels is ABI dependant.Daniel Sanders2015-05-201-8/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Summary: For N32/N64, private labels begin with '.L' but for O32 they begin with '$'. MCAsmInfo now has an initializer function which can be used to provide information from the TargetMachine to control the assembly syntax. * Re-apply r234898 and fix tests.Daniel Jasper2015-04-151-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This commit makes LLVM not estimate branch probabilities when doing a single bit bitmask tests. The code that originally made me discover this is: if ((a & 0x1) == 0x1) { .. } In this case we don't actually have any branch probability information and should not assume to have any. LLVM transforms this into: %and = and i32 %a, 1 %tobool = icmp eq i32 %and, 0 So, in this case, the result of a bitwise and is compared against 0, but nevertheless, we should not assume to have probability information. CodeGen/ARM/2013-10-11-select-stalls.ll started failing because the changed probabilities changed the results of ARMBaseInstrInfo::isProfitableToIfCvt() and led to an Ifcvt of the diamond in the test. AFAICT, the test was never meant to test this and thus changing the test input slightly to not change the probabilities seems like the best way to preserve the meaning of the test. llvm-svn: 234979

* [mips] Refine octeon instructions seq/seqi/sne/sneiKai Nacke2015-01-141-0/+66
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This commit refines the pattern for the octeon seq/seqi/sne/snei instructions. The target register is set to 0 or 1 according to the result of the comparison. In C, this is something like rd = (unsigned long)(rs == rt) This commit adds a zext to bring the result to i64. With this change the instruction is selected for this type of code. (gcc produces the same code for the above C code.) llvm-svn: 225968
* [mips] Add more Octeon cnMips instructionsKai Nacke2014-04-021-0/+14
| | | | | | | | | | | | Adds the instructions ext/ext32/cins/cins32. It also changes pop/dpop to accept the two operand version and adds a simple pattern to generate baddu. Tests for the two operand versions (including baddu/dmul/dpop/pop) and the code generation pattern for baddu are included. Reviewed by: Daniel.Sanders@imgtec.com llvm-svn: 205449
* [MIPS] Add cpu octeon and some instructionsKai Nacke2014-03-201-0/+15
The Octeon cpu from Cavium Networks is mips64r2 based and has an extended instruction set. In order to utilize this with LLVM, a new cpu feature "octeon" and a subtarget feature "cnmips" is added. A small set of new instructions (baddu, dmul, pop, dpop, seq, sne) is also added. LLVM generates dmul, pop and dpop instructions with option -mcpu=octeon or -mattr=+cnmips. llvm-svn: 204337
