* net-next: stmmac: mediatek: add more support for RMIIBiao Huang2019-12-171-29/+60
| | | | | | | | | | MT2712 SoC can provide the rmii reference clock, and the clock will output from TXC pin only, which means ref_clk pin of external PHY should connect to TXC pin in this case. Add corresponding clock and timing settings. Signed-off-by: Biao Huang <biao.huang@mediatek.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* net: of_get_phy_mode: Change API to solve int/unit warningsAndrew Lunn2019-11-041-4/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Before this change of_get_phy_mode() returned an enum, phy_interface_t. On error, -ENODEV etc, is returned. If the result of the function is stored in a variable of type phy_interface_t, and the compiler has decided to represent this as an unsigned int, comparision with -ENODEV etc, is a signed vs unsigned comparision. Fix this problem by changing the API. Make the function return an error, or 0 on success, and pass a pointer, of type phy_interface_t, where the phy mode should be stored. v2: Return with *interface set to PHY_INTERFACE_MODE_NA on error. Add error checks to all users of of_get_phy_mode() Fixup a few reverse christmas tree errors Fixup a few slightly malformed reverse christmas trees v3: Fix 0-day reported errors. * net: stmmac: dwmac-mediatek: fix wrong delay value issue when resume backBiao Huang2019-10-091-0/+27
| | | | | | | | | | | | | mac_delay value will be divided by 550/170 in mt2712_delay_ps2stage(), which is invoked at the beginning of mt2712_set_delay(), and the value should be restored at the end of mt2712_set_delay(). Or, mac_delay will be divided again when invoking mt2712_set_delay() when resume back. So, add mt2712_delay_stage2ps() to mt2712_set_delay() to recovery the original mac_delay value. * net: stmmac: dwmac-mediatek: disable rx watchdogBiao Huang2019-06-051-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | disable rx watchdog for dwmac-mediatek, then the hw will issue a rx interrupt once receiving a packet, so the responding time for rx path will be reduced. Signed-off-by: Biao Huang <biao.huang@mediatek.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* net: stmmac: dwmac-mediatek: enable Ethernet power domainBiao Huang2019-06-051-0/+7
| | | | | | | add Ethernet power on/off operations in init/exit flow. Signed-off-by: Biao Huang <biao.huang@mediatek.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* net: stmmac: dwmac-mediatek: modify csr_clk value to fix mdio read/write failBiao Huang2019-05-251-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | 1. the frequency of csr clock is 66.5MHz, so the csr_clk value should be 0 other than 5. 2. the csr_clk can be got from device tree, so remove initialization here. * net-next: stmmac: dwmac-mediatek: remove fine-tune propertyBiao Huang2018-12-191-47/+24
| | | | | | | | | | 1. remove fine-tune property and related setting to simplify the timing adjustment flow. 2. set timing value according to the value from device tree, and will not care whether PHY insert internal delay. * net-next: stmmac: dwmac-mediatek: add module license infoBiao Huang2018-12-121-0/+5
| | | | | | | | Add MODULE_LICENSE info to fix this: WARNING: modpost: missing MODULE_LICENSE() in drivers/net/ethernet/stmicro/stmmac/dwmac-mediatek.o Signed-off-by: Biao Huang <biao.huang@mediatek.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
