* powerpc: Remove platforms/wsp and associated piecesMichael Ellerman2014-06-111-435/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | __attribute__ ((unused)) WSP is the last user of CONFIG_PPC_A2, so we remove that as well. Although CONFIG_PPC_ICSWX still exists, it's no longer selectable for any Book3E platform, so we can remove the code in mmu-book3e.h that depended on it. * powerpc: Fix SMP issues with ppc64le ABIv2Anton Blanchard2014-04-231-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | There is no need to put a function descriptor in __secondary_hold_spinloop. Use ppc_function_entry to get the instruction address and put it in __secondary_hold_spinloop instead. Also fix an issue where we assumed cur_cpu_spec held a function descriptor. * powerpc/scom: Change scom_read() and scom_write() to return errorsBenjamin Herrenschmidt2013-10-111-5/+13
| | | | | | | scom_read() now returns the read value via a pointer argument and both functions return an int error code Signed-off-by: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org>
* POWERPC: drivers: remove __dev* attributes.Greg Kroah-Hartman2013-01-031-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev* markings need to be removed. This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata, __devinitconst, and __devexit from these drivers. Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand. * powerpc: Add WSP platformDavid Gibson2011-05-061-0/+427
Add a platform for the Wire Speed Processor, based on the PPC A2. This includes code for the ICS & OPB interrupt controllers, as well as a SCOM backend, and SCOM based cpu bringup.
