* Make RT_TARG id generation code common between IPL time and runtimeChristian Geddes2020-01-221-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | For axone we are writing the OMI mmio bars into hdat so the hypervisor know how to talk to the devices. IPL code needs to be able to lookup the hbrt-style ids so we can use them to make hdat entries that the hypervisor will be able to associate targets with. This commit also move rt_targeting.H to the correct include directory and updates everywhere that it is included. * Runtime scom support for OCMBsMatt Derksen2019-08-151-7/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | fapi2::getScom on OCMB targets eventually resolves to a mmio call at runtime. This commit registers a runtime version of mmioScomPerformOp to the IBSCOM device ops for OCMB targets. During runtime, hostboot will rely on the hypervisor (opal/phyp) to issue the inband commands to perform the operation on the desired OCMB. * Centaur Channel Checkstop (runtime)Rick Ward2018-06-052-3/+16
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This story covers when a DMI channel gets checkstopped at runtime and how to service the subsequent SCOM operations that PRD requests to diagnose the issue. At runtime, PRD makes all of its SCOM requests to HBRT which passes them on to PHYP for in-band access. The checkstop blocks in-band access, so HBRT must fail-over to messaging the FSP to do FSI accesses. To reduce the number of SCOM calls to the FSP, HBRT makes a "multi-SCOM read" call for all the common SCOMs that PRD will request after a checkstop, and caches the results. Two new calls (MBOX, generic messaging interface) to the FSP were added in a previous commit to allow FSI SCOM operations through the FSP: - MSG_SINGLE_SCOM_OP - MSG_MULTI_SCOM_OP Also, a new map, chnlFailScomList, was added in a previous commit. chnlFailScomList contains a list of target types and associated SCOM addresses that PRD is likely want to read after a checkstop. PRD is responsible for maintaining the contents. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Previously we only supported platSpecialWakeup at runtime because we were not worried about needed special wakeup as the cores would not go into stop state during the IPL. However, now PM code is expecting bits to be set by the p9 special wakeup hwp so we need to call it during the IPL. This code makes the handleSpecialWakeup.C/H files compatible with IPL time build environment and enables the call on the IPL time path CQ: SW415949 Change-Id: I94cca8a84946bea464b21cb95cdbbb075f766c3d Reviewed-on: http://ralgit01.raleigh.ibm.com/gerrit1/52858 Tested-by: Jenkins Server <pfd-jenkins+hostboot@us.ibm.com> Tested-by: Jenkins OP Build CI <op-jenkins+hostboot@us.ibm.com> Tested-by: Jenkins OP HW <op-hw-jenkins+hostboot@us.ibm.com> Reviewed-by: Christian R. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - Introduces Centaur ring ID header files and ring_apply support to generate a separate Centaur ring image file. - Introduces common ring ID header file consumed by both P9 and Centaur and all user codes, e.g. putRing, ipl_build, xip_tool, etc. - Introduces a namespace approach for complete separation of P9 and Centaur ring data and to facilitate execution time selection of either P9 and Centaur ring data. - Added Centaur image .rings generation function to p9_ring_apply. - This commit does NOT support Centaur in the TOR API nor in xip_tool. See commit 38018 for that support. - Modified hw_image.mk file to support Centaur XIP image generation. - Updated ring_apply to also support .overrides ring gen for Centaur.
