* usbutils: lsusb.py is for python 3.x onlyBaruch Siach2018-05-291-2/+2
| | | | | | | | usbutils version 010 converted the lsusb.py script to Python 3. Keep the lsusb.py script on target only when Python 3.x is enabled. Signed-off-by: Baruch Siach <baruch@tkos.co.il> Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <peter@korsgaard.com>
* usbutils: bump to version 010Baruch Siach2018-05-293-4/+1037
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add GPL-3.0 license for the lsusb.py script. Update license file location. The tar archive does not contain the license files from the git tree. Add a patch adding the license files. This patch is not git formatted because it only applies to the tar archive. Upstream fixed tar archive generation for the next release. Add license files hash. * boot, linux, package: use SPDX short identifier for GPLv2/GPLv2+Rahul Bedarkar2017-04-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | We want to use SPDX identifier for license strings as much as possible. SPDX short identifier for GPLv2/GPLv2+ is GPL-2.0/GPL-2.0+. This change is done by using following command. find . -name "*.mk" | xargs sed -ri '/LICENSE( )?[\+:]?=/s/\<GPLv2\>/GPL-2.0/g' Signed-off-by: Rahul Bedarkar <rahulbedarkar89@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@free-electrons.com>

* usbutils: bump to version 008Gustavo Zacarias2014-12-093-47/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Now uses hwdb from libudev for usb information. Drop all redundant/obsolete dependencies and cleanup hooks. Don't install to staging, it's pointless, it provides no libraries at all and it doesn't bundle usb.ids any more. [Thomas: change 'comment' in Config.in to match what's recommended in the Buildroot manual.] Signed-off-by: Gustavo Zacarias <gustavo@zacarias.com.ar> Signed-off-by: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@free-electrons.com>

* packages: rename FOO_CONF_OPT into FOO_CONF_OPTSThomas De Schampheleire2014-10-041-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | To be consistent with the recent change of FOO_MAKE_OPT into FOO_MAKE_OPTS, make the same change for FOO_CONF_OPT. Sed command used: find * -type f | xargs sed -i 's#_CONF_OPT\>#&S#g' Signed-off-by: Thomas De Schampheleire <thomas.de.schampheleire@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: "Yann E. * Config.in files: use if/endif instead of 'depends on' for main symbolThomas De Schampheleire2013-12-251-1/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In the Config.in file of package foo, it often happens that there are other symbols besides BR2_PACKAGE_FOO. Typically, these symbols only make sense when foo itself is enabled. There are two ways to express this: with depends on BR2_PACKAGE_FOO in each extra symbol, or with if BR2_PACKAGE_FOO ... endif around the entire set of extra symbols. The if/endif approach avoids the repetition of 'depends on' statements on multiple symbols, so this is clearly preferred. But even when there is only one extra symbol, if/endif is a more logical choice: - it is future-proof for when extra symbols are added - it allows to have just one strategy instead of two (less confusion) This patch modifies the Config.in files accordingly. * Config.in files: unify comments of toolchain option dependenciesThomas De Schampheleire2013-10-141-1/+1

* Remove BR2_HAVE_DEVFILESThomas Petazzoni2013-07-041-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | This finally removes the BR2_HAVE_DEVFILES option, that was used to install/keep development files on target. With the recent migration of the internal backend to the package infrastructure, we had anyway lost the ability to build gcc for the target, and install the uClibc development files on the target. * package: remove useless arguments from AUTOTARGETSThomas Petazzoni2011-09-291-1/+1

* uClibc: drop BR2_PROGRAM_INVOCATION optionPeter Korsgaard2011-07-271-4/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | Remove the BR option and enable the configuration setting in the uClibc defconfigs. The BR2_PROGRAM_INVOCATION option only adds very little overhead to uClibc, and we have a number of packages needing it, so simply always enable it - Simplifying the kconfig logic and the number of choices users have to make. * buildroot: silence ./configure step when building with 'make -s'Peter Korsgaard2009-10-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | We have been passing -q to ./configure when using 'make -s' for packages using Makefile.autotools.in for some time. Do the same for packages using autotools, but not using the Makefile.autotools.in infrastructure, taking care to not do it for packages with hand written configure scripts.
