* openntpd: don't test if the binary exists in the init scriptCarlos Santos2018-04-161-1/+0
| | | | | | | | The test doesn't make sense. It just exits without any error if the binary doesn't exist, which is silly. Signed-off-by: Carlos Santos <casantos@datacom.ind.br> Signed-off-by: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@bootlin.com>
* openntpd: add optional dependency on LibreSSLAdam Duskett2017-11-222-0/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | OpenNTPD looks for a crypto library with tls_config_set_ca_mem, which is available in LibreSSL but not OpenSSL. If tls_config_set_ca_mem is found, crypto support is added to the build. Because this is not currently checked, crypto support might not be added due to the order of the build. Add a small check to see if BR2_PACKAGE_LIBRESSL is selected, and if so, add a dependency for it. Also add a note about this in the Config.in help section. * openntpd: update to 6.2p3Adam Duskett2017-11-224-94/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Other changes: - Remove upstream patch. - Change locally computed hash to hash from the SHA256 URL. - Add sha256sum for license file. Note that we need to keep <pkg>_AUTORECONF = YES even though the patch touching the Makefile.am has been removed, because our libtool patch doesn't apply on the bundled ltmain.sh. * openntpd: fix musl build with older kernel headersBaruch Siach2017-10-051-0/+38
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | musl provides its own SYS_getrandom definition, but not GRND_NONBLOCK. This breaks the build with kernel headers older than v3.17. Add a patch adding a local definition of GRND_NONBLOCK to fix the build. The getentropy_linux.c file is in upstream tarball, but not in its git repository. It originates from OpenBSD. For this reason the patch is against the tarball, but not git formatted. * openntpd: fix build with muslBaruch Siach2017-09-272-1/+92
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The recent version bump added a local sys/cdefs.h header that overrides the internal libc provided one. But since musl does not use this header, the __dead definition in this file is missing. Add a patch that moves the __dead definition to sys/types.h. Update the autoreconf reason comment. Current openntpd ships libtool version 2.4.2 that Buildroot can safely patch. * openntpd: fix Config.in comment dependencyThomas Petazzoni2017-02-061-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | BR2_PACKAGE_OPENNTPD has a "depends on !BR2_PACKAGE_NTP" because the openntpd package conflicts with the ntp package. So the Config.in comment of openntpd should also not be visible when ntp is selected. Otherwise the comment will show up when the user has a non-NPTL toolchain, and once he enables NPTL support, the comment disappears, but the package option doesn't appear. * openntpd: set time immediately from initscriptGustavo Zacarias2016-01-131-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Match the systemd service file and set time immediately on startup rather than small steps when it differs a lot. On embedded scenarios this is better since boards that lack a battery-backed RTC might start at unix epoch and the time set will delay for quite a while otherwise. For boards that do have a battery-backed RTC the behaviour will be practically the same unless the RTC drifts a lot. | | | | | | | | | | | | Add the _ntp user that the daemon requires to work in any way.
