* package/netatalk: security bump to version 3.1.23Peter Korsgaard2018-12-212-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | Fixes CVE-2018-1160: Netatalk before 3.1.12 is vulnerable to an out of bounds write in dsi_opensess.c. This is due to lack of bounds checking on attacker controlled data. A remote unauthenticated attacker can leverage this vulnerability to achieve arbitrary code execution. For more details, see the release notes: http://netatalk.sourceforge.net/3.1/ReleaseNotes3.1.12.html Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <peter@korsgaard.com>
* package/*/Config.in: fix help text check-package warningsThomas Petazzoni2017-12-181-2/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This commit fixes the warnings reported by check-package on the help text of all package Config.in files, related to the formatting of the help text: should start with a tab, then 2 spaces, then at most 62 characters. The vast majority of warnings fixed were caused by too long lines. A few warnings were related to spaces being used instead of a tab to indent the help text. * netatalk: needs dynamic libraryThomas Petazzoni2015-08-081-2/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Even though netatalk checks if dlfcn.h is available and has some code that supposedly copes with non-dynamic library cases, it in fact does not build. Since there is probably little interest in using netatalk in pure statically linked environments, let's simply require dynamic library support. * sysv init scripts: remove gettext invocationsAndré Erdmann2014-10-261-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | $"str" is supposed to translate str (depending on the current locale). In ash/dash/..., it cannot be expanded, so commands like echo $"Usage: $0 start|stop" are printed as '$Usage: SCRIPT start|stop' in [d]ash, and as 'Usage: SCRIPT start|stop' in bash. This patch removes the '$' in front of '"'. Command(s) used for editing: find . -type f -name '[SK][0-9][0-9]*' | \ xargs sed -r -e 's@[$](["])@\1@g' -i Signed-off-by: André Erdmann <dywi@mailerd.de> Signed-off-by: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@free-electrons.com>

* Config.in files: add missing dependencies to toolchain option commentsThomas De Schampheleire2013-11-101-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When a package A depends on config option B and toolchain option C, then the comment that is given when C is not fulfilled should also depend on B. For example: config BR2_PACKAGE_A depends on BR2_B depends on BR2_LARGEFILE depends on BR2_WCHAR comment "A needs a toolchain w/ largefile, wchar" depends on !BR2_LARGEFILE || !BR2_WCHAR This comment should actually be: comment "A needs a toolchain w/ largefile, wchar" depends on BR2_B depends on !BR2_LARGEFILE || !BR2_WCHAR or if possible (typically when B is a package config option declared in that same Config.in file): if BR2_B comment "A needs a toolchain w/ largefile, wchar" depends on !BR2_LARGEFILE || !BR2_WCHAR [other config options depending on B] endif Otherwise, the comment would be visible even though the other dependencies are not met. This patch adds such missing dependencies, and changes existing such dependencies from depends on BR2_BASE_DEP && !BR2_TOOLCHAIN_USES_GLIBC to depends on BR2_BASE_DEP depends on !BR2_TOOLCHAIN_USES_GLIBC so that (positive) base dependencies are separate from the (negative) toolchain dependencies. This strategy makes it easier to write such comments (because one can simply copy the base dependency from the actual package config option), but also avoids complex and long boolean expressions. | | | | | | | | | | | | | The configure script sets LD_LIBRARY_PATH to the staging directory, which makes the `ls` that is called in one of the tests fail. | | | | | | | | | | | | | Netatalk goes to version 3.0. The startup script has changed too, there is now only one binary called netatalk. No more afpd, cnid, ... at startup ! They are executed by netatalk. All the config is done within /etc/afp.conf, look at : http://netatalk.sourceforge.net/3.0/htmldocs/upgrade.html for more info about the upgrade process.
