* links: fix X11 library/includes detectionPeter Korsgaard2018-10-031-1/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Fixes: http://autobuild.buildroot.net/results/4b0/4b02713ed5c10b58f390f96ea25f2a45c9a47af4/ http://autobuild.buildroot.net/results/ac6/ac668f867b9de7a2c61d263a894480afc181dd9b/ http://autobuild.buildroot.net/results/f02/f0248b3bf4a73210f210f422c8df067a6ea28aa1/ The configure script uses AC_PATH_X, which searches the host for the X11 libraries/headers, causing build failures. https://www.gnu.org/software/autoconf/manual/autoconf-2.65/html_node/System-Services.html Fix it by using --x-includes / --x-libraries like we do elsewhere. | | | | | | | | | | | We want to use SPDX identifier for license strings as much as possible. SPDX short identifier for GPLv2/GPLv2+ is GPL-2.0/GPL-2.0+. * links: fix static link with directfbBaruch Siach2016-04-121-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The AC_HAVE_FUNCS autoconf macro uses gcc to check for function existence. This breaks when the library depends on libstdc++, like directfb. Add this dependency externally. * Config.in files: use if/endif instead of 'depends on' for main symbolThomas De Schampheleire2013-12-251-1/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In the Config.in file of package foo, it often happens that there are other symbols besides BR2_PACKAGE_FOO. Typically, these symbols only make sense when foo itself is enabled. There are two ways to express this: with depends on BR2_PACKAGE_FOO in each extra symbol, or with if BR2_PACKAGE_FOO ... endif around the entire set of extra symbols. The if/endif approach avoids the repetition of 'depends on' statements on multiple symbols, so this is clearly preferred. But even when there is only one extra symbol, if/endif is a more logical choice: - it is future-proof for when extra symbols are added - it allows to have just one strategy instead of two (less confusion) This patch modifies the Config.in files accordingly.
