* drm/vmwgfx: prevent memory leak in vmw_cmdbuf_res_addNavid Emamdoost2020-01-151-1/+3
| | | | | | | | | | In vmw_cmdbuf_res_add if drm_ht_insert_item fails the allocated memory for cres should be released. * drm/vmwgfx: Don't refcount command-buffer managed resource lookups during ↵Thomas Hellstrom2018-09-281-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | command buffer validation The typical pattern of these lookups are -Lookup -Put on validate list if not already there. -Unreference And since we are the exclusive user of the context during lookup time, we can be sure that the resource will stay alive during the sequence. So avoid taking a reference during lookup, and also avoid unreferencing when done. Signed-off-by: Thomas Hellstrom <thellstrom@vmware.com> Reviewed-by: Sinclair Yeh <syeh@vmware.com>

* drm/vmwgfx: Fix NULL pointer comparisonRavikant B Sharma2017-07-171-2/+2

* drm/vmwgfx: Free hash table allocated by cmdbuf managed res mgrDeepak Rawat2017-06-261-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The hash table created during vmw_cmdbuf_res_man_create was never freed. This causes memory leak in context creation. Added the corresponding drm_ht_remove in vmw_cmdbuf_res_man_destroy. Tested for memory leak by running piglit overnight and kernel memory is not inflated which earlier was. * drm/vmwgfx: Fix hash key computationThomas Hellstrom2014-10-311-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | The hash key computation in vmw_cmdbuf_res_remove incorrectly didn't take the resource type into account, contrary to all the other related functions. This becomes important when the cmdbuf resource manager handles more than one resource type. Signed-off-by: Thomas Hellstrom <thellstrom@vmware.com> Reviewed-by: Brian Paul <brianp@vmware.com>
* drm/vmwgfx: Fix compat shader namespaceThomas Hellstrom2014-07-041-0/+341
Contrary to the host-backed shader interface that has a per-context name-space for shaders, the compat shader namespace was per client (or rather, per file). Fix this so that the compat shader namespace is per context, and at the same time, make command buffer managed context resource management generic.
