* kconfig: add config option for shell promptNikita Kiryanov2015-08-131-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add option to set shell prompt string from menuconfig and migrate boards globally. The migration is done as follows: - Boards that explicitly and unconditionally set CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT had the entry moved to their defconfig files. - Boards that defined some kind of #ifdef logic which selects the CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT (for example qemu-mips) got an #undef CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT right before the #ifdef logic and were left alone. - This change forces CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT to be a per board decision, and thus CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT was removed from all <soc>_common.h and <arch>_common.h files. This results in a streamlined default value across platforms, and includes the following files: spear-common, sunxi-common, mv-common, ti_armv7_common, tegra-common, at91-sama5_common, and zynq-common. - Boards that relied on <arch/soc>_common.h values of CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT were not updated in their respective defconfig files under the assumption that since they did not explicitly define a value, they're fine with whatever the default is. - On the other hand, boards that relied on a value defined in some <boards>_common.h file such as woodburn_common, rpi-common, bur_am335x_common, ls2085a_common, siemens_am33x_common, and omap3_evm_common, had their values moved to the respective defconfig files. - The define V_PROMPT was removed, since it is not used anywhere except for assigning a value for CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT. * exynos: config: Move common options to the common headers and tidy upSimon Glass2015-08-051-11/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Many options are duplicated on the exynos5 boards. Move these to the common files. Also some options are not used so can be removed. Tidy this up to make the files easier to maintain. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Acked-by: Przemyslaw Marczak <p.marczak@samsung.com>

| | | | | | | Enable PMICs, regulators and the like so that new drivers will be made available. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* Move default y configs out of arch/board KconfigJoe Hershberger2015-06-251-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Some archs/boards specify their own default by pre-defining the config which causes the Kconfig system to mix up the order of the configs in the defconfigs... This will cause merge pain if allowed to proliferate. Remove the configs that behave this way from the archs. A few configs still remain, but that is because they only exist as defaults and do not have a proper Kconfig entry. Those appear to be: SPIFLASH DISPLAY_BOARDINFO Signed-off-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com> [trini: rastaban, am43xx_evm_usbhost_boot, am43xx_evm_ethboot updates, drop DM_USB from MSI_Primo81 as USB_MUSB_SUNXI isn't converted yet to DM] Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>

* exynos: cros_ec: Drop unnecessary initSimon Glass2015-04-181-1/+0
| | | | | | | Since driver model will probe the EC when it is first used, we do not need to init it explicitly. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* dm: cros_ec: Convert to KconfigSimon Glass2015-02-191-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | Since both I2C and SPI are converted to Kconfig, we can convert cros_ec to Kconfig for these buses. LPC will need to wait until driver mode PCI is available. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>

* config: Move arndale to use common exynos5250 fileSimon Glass2014-10-081-0/+17
| | | | | | | | Most of the arndale features are common with other exynos5250 boards. To permit easier addition of driver model support, use the common file. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Minkyu Kang <mk7.kang@samsung.com>
* exynos: config: Move cros_ec and tps65090 out of smdk boardsSimon Glass2014-10-081-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | These boards do not in fact have a Chrome OS EC, nor a TPS565090 PMIC, so move the settings into a separate common file to be used by those that need it. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Minkyu Kang <mk7.kang@samsung.com>
* exynos: Move common exynos settings into a common fileSimon Glass2014-10-081-4/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Since exynos4 and exyno5 share many settings, we should move these into a common file to avoid duplication. In effect the changes are that all exynos boards now have EXT4 and FAT write support. This affects exynos5250 and exynos5420 which previously did not. This also disables the ext2 commands which are equivalent to ext4 anyway. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Minkyu Kang <mk7.kang@samsung.com>
* exynos: Rename -dt config files to -commonSimon Glass2014-10-081-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | We want exynos5250-dt.h to be a board which can support any exynos5250 device. This matches the naming used by Linux. As a first step, rename the existing -dt files to -common to make it clear they are common files, and not specific boards.
