* board configs: drop NET_MULTI referencesMike Frysinger2011-10-051-1/+0
| | | | | | | Now that none of the core checks CONFIG_NET_MULTI, there's not much point in boards defining it. So scrub all references to it. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>

* arm920t/at91: use new clock.c featuresAndreas Bießmann2011-07-041-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | This patch enables the new clock features from arm920t/at91/clock.c. This is an required step to get at91rm9200_usart replaced by atmel_usart driver. * Remove remnants of obsolete CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE commentsMichael Jones2011-05-121-1/+0
| | | | | | | commit 25ddd1fb0a2281b182529afbc8fda5de2dc16d96 left remnants of many comments about CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE. Signed-off-by: Michael Jones <michael.jones@matrix-vision.de>
* arm920t/at91/timer: replace bss variables by gdAndreas Bießmann2010-12-071-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | Reuse the gd->tbl value for timestamp and add gd->lastinc for lastinc bss values in arm920t/at91/timer driver. The usage of bss values in driver before initialisation of bss is forbidden. In that special case some data in .rel.dyn gets corrupted by the arm920t/at91/timer driver. * at91rm9200ek: add configure target for RAM bootAndreas Bießmann2010-12-071-0/+14
| | | | | | | This patch also removes now unnecessary config.mk in board directory and make usage of new features in boards.cfg. Signed-off-by: Andreas Bießmann <andreas.devel@googlemail.com>

* Replace CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE by auto-generated valueWolfgang Denk2010-10-261-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE has always been just a bad workarond for not being able to use "sizeof(struct global_data)" in assembler files. Recent experience has shown that manual synchronization is not reliable enough. This patch renames CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE into GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE which gets automatically generated by the asm-offsets tool. In the result, all definitions of this value can be deleted from the board config files. We have to make sure that all files that reference such data include the new <asm-offsets.h> file. No other changes have been done yet, but it is obvious that similar changes / simplifications can be done for other, related macro definitions as well. * at91rm9200ek: enbable USB supportAndreas Bießmann2010-10-191-0/+15
| | | | | | | This patch enables USB for at91rm9200ek board. Signed-off-by: Andreas Bießmann <andreas.devel@googlemail.com> Signed-off-by: Reinhard Meyer <u-boot@emk-elektronik.de>
* at91rm9200ek: convert to at91Andreas Bießmann2010-10-191-201/+74
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch removes some functionality from at91rm9200ek board but the remaining functionality does now work with newer at91 code and arm-relocation. Currently missing features are: - dataflash booting (due to missing HW for testing) - MMC/SD-Card - first stage bootloader support is completely removed (not needed for NOR) Cause this board was (some days ago) reference for all at91rm9200 based boards this should be a good starting point to convert all remaining at91rm9200 borads to at91 code. Aside from that this is a good base to get some drivers between at91sam/at91rm/avr32 merged. * add new CONFIG_AT91_LEGACYJens Scharsig2010-02-121-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | * add's the new temporary CONFIG_AT91_LEGACY to all board configs This will need for backward compatiblity, while change the SoC access to c structures. If CONFIG_AT91_LEGACY is defined, the deprecated SoC is used. Signed-off-by: Jens Scharsig <js_at_ng@scharsoft.de>
* new at91_emac network driver (NET_MULTI api)Jens Scharsig2010-01-311-1/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | * add's at91_emac (AT91RM9200) network driver (NET_MULTI api) * enable driver with CONFIG_DRIVER_AT91EMAC * generic PHY initialization * modify AT91RM9200 boards to use NET_MULTI driver * the drivers has been tested with LXT971 Phy and DM9161 Phy at MII and RMII interface Signed-off-by: Jens Scharsig <js_at_ng@scharsoft.de> Signed-off-by: Ben Warren <biggerbadderben@gmail.com>
* rm9200 lowevel_init: don't touch reserved/readonly registersDavid Brownell2009-08-031-5/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | For some reason the AT91rm9200 lowlevel init writes to a bunch of reserved or read-only addresses. All the boards seem to define the value-to-be-written values as zero ... but they shouldn't actually be writing *anything* there. No documented erratum justifies these accesses. It looks like maybe some pre-release BDI-2000 setup code has been carried along by cargo cult programming since at least late 2004 (per GIT history). Here's a patch disabling what seems to be bogosity. Tested on a csb337; there were no behavioral changes. * AT91: factor out ROUND() macroWolfgang Denk2009-07-221-1/+0
| | | | | | | | A large number of boards (all AT91 based) duplicated the ROUND() macro in their board specific config files. Add the definition to include/common.h and clean up the board config files. Signed-off-by: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de>
* i2c: Remove deprecated individual i2c commandsPeter Tyser2009-06-121-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The following individual I2C commands have been removed: imd, imm, inm, imw, icrc32, iprobe, iloop, isdram. The functionality of the individual commands is still available via the 'i2c' command. This change only has an impact on those boards which did not have CONFIG_I2C_CMD_TREE defined.
