* [llvm-cov] Delete custom JSON serialization code (NFC)Vedant Kumar2018-09-121-1/+0
| | | | | | | Teach llvm-cov to use the new llvm JSON library, and remove some redundant/brittle JSON serialization tests. llvm-svn: 342088
* [llvm-cov] Add an option which maps the location of source directories on ↵Sean Eveson2017-08-141-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | another machine to your local copies Summary: This patch adds the -path-equivalence option (example: llvm-cov show -path-equivalence=/origin/path,/local/path) which maps the source code path from one machine to another when using `llvm-cov show`. This is similar to the -filename-equivalence option, but doesn't require you to specify all the source files on the command line. This allows you to generate the coverage data on one machine (e.g. in a CI system), and then use llvm-cov on another machine where you have the same code base on a different path. * [llvm-cov] Allow specifying distinct architectures for each loaded binaryVedant Kumar2017-08-011-0/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | The coverage tool needs to know which slice to look at when it's handed a universal binary. Some projects need to look at aggregate coverage reports for a variety of slices in different binaries: this patch adds support for these kinds of projects to llvm-cov. rdar://problem/33579007 llvm-svn: 309747

* [llvm-cov] Swapped the line and count columns.Ying Yi2016-08-091-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | In the coverage report, the line and count columns have been swapped to make it more readable. A follow-up commit in compiler-rt is needed Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D23281 llvm-svn: 278152
* Retry: [llvm-cov] Add support for exporting coverage data to JSONVedant Kumar2016-07-261-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This enables users to export coverage information as portable JSON for use by analysis tools and storage in document based databases. The export sub-command is invoked just like the others: llvm-cov export -instr-profile path/to/foo.profdata path/to/foo.binary The resulting JSON contains a list of files and functions. Every file object contains a list of segments, expansions, and a summary of the file's region, function, and line coverage. Every function object contains the function's name and regions. There is also a total summary for the entire object file. Changes since the initial commit (r276813): - Fixed the regexes in the tests to handle Windows filepaths. Patch by Eddie Hurtig! * Revert "[llvm-cov] Add support for exporting coverage data to JSON"Vedant Kumar2016-07-261-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | This reverts commit r276813. The Windows bots are complaining about some of the filename regexes in the tests: http://bb.pgr.jp/builders/ninja-clang-i686-msc19-R/builds/5299 llvm-svn: 276816

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Summary: When giving the following command: % llvm-cov report -instr-profile=default.profraw llvm-cov will give the following error message: >llvm-cov report: Not enough positional command line arguments specified! >Must specify at least 1 positional arguments: See: orbis-llvm-cov report -help This patch changes the error message from '1 positional arguments' to '1 positional argument'. * llvm-cov: Only emit colour by default if the output is a ttyJustin Bogner2015-03-191-2/+2
| | | | | | | This replaces the -no-color flag with a -color={auto|always|never} option, with auto as the default, which is much saner. llvm-svn: 232693
* InstrProf: Remove xfails for big-endian from coverage testsJustin Bogner2015-03-161-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | This still doesn't actually work correctly for big endian input files, but since these tests all use little endian input files they don't actually fail. I'll be committing a real fix for big endian soon, but I don't have proper tests for it yet. llvm-svn: 232354
* Now that r231902's test is executed, make it actually passJustin Bogner2015-03-111-2/+2
| | | | | | | | As of r231908, the test I added in r231902 actually gets run - but I'd checked in a stale version of the input so it didn't pass. Fix the input and un-xfail the test. llvm-svn: 231911
* Make test added in r231902 actually be executed.Daniel Jasper2015-03-111-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | There were also errors in the CHECK line which I fixed and the test doesn't actually pass as the "100" is in the wrong line. Not sure whether this is a test failure or a coverage failure so making the test XFAIL for now. llvm-svn: 231908
