* [X86][SSE] Remove XFormVExtractWithShuffleIntoLoad to prevent legalization ↵Simon Pilgrim2019-11-191-4/+10
| | | | | | | | infinite loops (PR43971) As detailed in PR43971/D70267, the use of XFormVExtractWithShuffleIntoLoad causes issues where we end up in infinite loops of extract(targetshuffle(vecload)) -> extract(shuffle(vecload)) -> extract(vecload) -> extract(targetshuffle(vecload)), there are just too many legalization checks at every stage that we can't guarantee that extract(shuffle(vecload)) -> scalarload can occur. At the moment we see a number of minor regressions as we don't fold extract(shuffle(vecload)) -> scalarload before legal ops, these can be addressed in future patches and extension of X86ISelLowering's combineExtractWithShuffle.

* X86: Do not use llc -march in tests.Matthias Braun2017-08-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | `llc -march` is problematic because it only switches the target architecture, but leaves the operating system unchanged. This occasionally leads to indeterministic tests because the OS from LLVM_DEFAULT_TARGET_TRIPLE is used. However we can simply always use `llc -mtriple` instead. This changes all the tests to do this to avoid people using -march when they copy and paste parts of tests. See also the discussion in https://reviews.llvm.org/D35287 llvm-svn: 309774

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | load instruction Essentially the same as the GEP change in r230786. A similar migration script can be used to update test cases, though a few more test case improvements/changes were required this time around: (r229269-r229278) import fileinput import sys import re pat = re.compile(r"((?:=|:|^)\s*load (?:atomic )?(?:volatile )?(.*?))(| addrspace\(\d+\) *)\*($| *(?:%|@|null|undef|blockaddress|getelementptr|addrspacecast|bitcast|inttoptr|\[\[[a-zA-Z]|\{\{).*$)") for line in sys.stdin: sys.stdout.write(re.sub(pat, r"\1, \2\3*\4", line)) Reviewers: rafael, dexonsmith, grosser Differential Revision: http://reviews.llvm.org/D7649 llvm-svn: 230794

It initially found some false positives due to unusual constructs in a minority of tests; all such cases were disambiguated first in commit r186621. llvm-svn: 186624
* Fixes a bug in the DAGCombiner. LoadSDNodes have two values (data, chain).Nadav Rotem2011-05-111-0/+13
If there is a store after the load node, then there is a chain, which means that there is another user. Thus, asking hasOneUser would fail. Instead we ask hasNUsesOfValue on the 'data' value. llvm-svn: 131183
