operands locations
Extends DWARF expression language to express locals/globals locations. (via
target-index operands atm) (possible variants are: non-virtual registers
or address spaces)
The WebAssemblyExplicitLocals can replace virtual registers to targertindex
operand type at the time when WebAssembly backend introduces
{get,set,tee}_local instead of corresponding virtual registers.

Summary:
This clang-tidy check is looking for unsigned integer variables whose initializer
starts with an implicit cast from llvm::Register and changes the type of the

- Replaces some uses of `MachineFunction::iterator(MBB)` with

`MI->getIterator()`, which are simpler.
- Replaces some uses of `std::prev` of `std::next` that takes a
MachineFunction or MachineBasicBlock iterator with `getPrevNode` and
`getNextNode`, which are also simpler.

I'm looking at adding a second INLINEASM opcode for better modeling asm-goto

places that will need to use the new opcode.

to reflect the new license.
We understand that people may be surprised that we're moving the header
entirely to discuss the new license. We checked this carefully with the
Foundation's lawyer and we believe this is the correct approach.
Essentially, all code in the project is now made available by the LLVM
project under our new license, so you will see that the license headers
include that license only. Some of our contributors have contributed
code under our old license, and accordingly, we have retained a copy of
our old license notice in the top-level files in each project and
repository.

Summary:
rL341389 broke code with tied register operands in inline assembly. For
example, `asm("" : "=r"(var) : "0"(var));`
The code above specifies the input operand to be in the same register
with the output operand, tying the two register. This patch makes this
kind of code work again.

This fixes "Instruction has operand with wrong parent set" errors

Summary:
This fixes liveness tracking information after `drop` instruction
insertion in ExplicitLocals pass.
When a drop instruction is inserted to drop a dead register operand, the
original operand should be marked not dead anymore because it is now
used by the new drop instruction. And the operand to the new drop
instruction should be marked killed instead. This bug caused some
programs to fail when `llc` is run with `-verify-machineinstrs` option.

The DEBUG() macro is very generic so it might clash with other projects.
The renaming was done as follows:
- git grep -l 'DEBUG' | xargs sed -i 's/\bDEBUG\s\?(/LLVM_DEBUG(/g'
- git diff -U0 master | ../clang/tools/clang-format/clang-format-diff.py -i -p1 -style LLVM
- Manual change to APInt
- Manually chage DOCS as regex doesn't match it.
In the transition period the DEBUG() macro is still present and aliased
to the LLVM_DEBUG() one.

Because we create a new kind of debug instruction, DBG_LABEL, we need to
check all passes which use isDebugValue() to check MachineInstr is debug
instruction or not. When expelling debug instructions, we should expel
both DBG_VALUE and DBG_LABEL. So, I create a new function,
isDebugInstr(), in MachineInstr to check whether the MachineInstr is
debug instruction or not.
This patch has no new test case. I have run regression test and there is
no difference in regression test.

We've been running doxygen with the autobrief option for a couple of
years now. This makes the \brief markers into our comments
redundant. Since they are a visual distraction and we don't want to
encourage more \brief markers in new code either, this patch removes
them all.

Previously, an "r" constraint would mean the compiler provides a value
on WebAssembly's operand stack. This was tricky to use properly,
particularly since it isn't possible to declare a new local from within
an inline asm string.
With this patch, "r" provides the value in a WebAssembly local, and the
local index is provided to the inline asm string. This requires inline
asm to use get_local and set_local to read the register. This does
potentially result in larger code size, however inline asm should
hopefully be quite rare in WebAssembly.
This also means that the "m" constraint can no longer be supported, as
WebAssembly has nothing like a "memory operand" that includes an
implicit get_local.
This fixes PR34599 for the wasm32-unknown-unknown-wasm target (though
not for the ELF target).

target.
To facilitate this, add a new hidden command-line option to disable
the explicit-locals pass. That causes llc to emit invalid code that doesn't
have all locals converted to get_local/set_local, however it simplifies
testwriting in many cases.

With the "wasm32-unknown-unknown-wasm" triple, this allows writing out

migrating from ELF to general wasm object support. Note that this code

This changes locals from being declared by the emitLocal hook in
WebAssemblyTargetStreamer, rather than with an instruction. After exploring
the infastructure in LLVM more, this seems to make more sense since
declaring locals doesn't use an encoded opcode.
This also adds more 0xd opcodes, type encodings, and miscellaneous
binary encoding bits.
