* Update more file headers across all of the LLVM projects in the monorepoChandler Carruth2019-01-191-4/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | to reflect the new license. These used slightly different spellings that defeated my regular expressions. We understand that people may be surprised that we're moving the header entirely to discuss the new license. We checked this carefully with the Foundation's lawyer and we believe this is the correct approach. Essentially, all code in the project is now made available by the LLVM project under our new license, so you will see that the license headers include that license only. Some of our contributors have contributed code under our old license, and accordingly, we have retained a copy of our old license notice in the top-level files in each project and repository. llvm-svn: 351648
* [NVPTX] Delete dead codeBenjamin Kramer2018-06-281-8/+0
| | | | | | No functionality change. llvm-svn: 335913
* Target/TargetInstrInfo.h -> CodeGen/TargetInstrInfo.h to match layeringDavid Blaikie2017-11-081-1/+1
| | | | | | | | This header includes CodeGen headers, and is not, itself, included by any Target headers, so move it into CodeGen to match the layering of its implementation. llvm-svn: 317647
* [NVPTX] Remove dead code.Justin Lebar2016-12-141-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | I've chosen to remove NVPTXInstrInfo::CanTailMerge but not NVPTXInstrInfo::isLoadInstr and isStoreInstr (which are also dead) because while the latter two are reasonably useful utilities, the former cannot be used safely: It relies on successful address space inference to identify writes to shared memory, but addrspace inference is a best-effort thing. llvm-svn: 289740

* Make analyzeBranch family of instruction names consistentMatt Arsenault2016-09-141-1/+1
| | | | | | | analyzeBranch was renamed to use lowercase first, rename the related set to match. llvm-svn: 281506
* AArch64: Use TTI branch functions in branch relaxationMatt Arsenault2016-09-141-2/+4
| | | | | | | | | The main change is to return the code size from InsertBranch/RemoveBranch. Patch mostly by Tim Northover llvm-svn: 281505
* Rename AnalyzeBranch* to analyzeBranch*.Jacques Pienaar2016-07-151-3/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | Summary: NFC. Rename AnalyzeBranch/AnalyzeBranchPredicate to analyzeBranch/analyzeBranchPredicate to follow LLVM coding style and be consistent with TargetInstrInfo's analyzeCompare and analyzeSelect. * Pass DebugLoc and SDLoc by const ref.Benjamin Kramer2016-06-121-6/+6
| | | | | | | | This used to be free, copying and moving DebugLocs became expensive after the metadata rewrite. Passing by reference eliminates a ton of track/untrack operations. No functionality change intended. llvm-svn: 272512
* [NVPTX] Remove dead code.Benjamin Kramer2015-10-151-1/+0
| | | | | | I left helpers that look useful for debugging alone. NFC. llvm-svn: 250410

* Remove all use of is64bit off of NVPTXSubtarget and clean up codeEric Christopher2015-02-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | accordingly. This changes the constructors of a number of classes that don't need to know the subtarget's 64-bitness. llvm-svn: 229787
* Canonicalize header guards into a common format.Benjamin Kramer2014-08-131-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | Add header guards to files that were missing guards. Remove #endif comments as they don't seem common in LLVM (we can easily add them back if we decide they're useful) Changes made by clang-tidy with minor tweaks. llvm-svn: 215558
* Remove caching of the target machine in NVPTXInstrInfo andEric Christopher2014-06-271-2/+1
| | | | | | update constructor accordingly. llvm-svn: 211840
* [C++11] Add 'override' keywords and remove 'virtual'. Additionally add ↵Craig Topper2014-04-291-8/+8

* [weak vtables] Remove a bunch of weak vtablesJuergen Ributzka2013-11-191-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | This patch removes most of the trivial cases of weak vtables by pinning them to a single object file. The memory leaks in this version have been fixed. Thanks Alexey for pointing them out. Differential Revision: http://llvm-reviews.chandlerc.com/D2068 Reviewed by Andy llvm-svn: 195064
* Revert r194865 and r194874.Alexey Samsonov2013-11-181-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | This change is incorrect. If you delete virtual destructor of both a base class and a subclass, then the following code: Base *foo = new Child(); delete foo; will not cause the destructor for members of Child class. As a result, I observe plently of memory leaks. Notable examples I investigated are: ObjectBuffer and ObjectBufferStream, AttributeImpl and StringSAttributeImpl. llvm-svn: 194997

* This patch adds a new NVPTX back-end to LLVM which supports code generation ↵Justin Holewinski2012-05-041-0/+83
for NVIDIA PTX 3.0. This back-end will (eventually) replace the current PTX back-end, while maintaining compatibility with it. The new target machines are: nvptx (old ptx32) => 32-bit PTX nvptx64 (old ptx64) => 64-bit PTX The sources are based on the internal NVIDIA NVPTX back-end, and contain more functionality than the current PTX back-end currently provides.
