* Update the file headers across all of the LLVM projects in the monorepoChandler Carruth2019-01-191-4/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | to reflect the new license. We understand that people may be surprised that we're moving the header entirely to discuss the new license. We checked this carefully with the Foundation's lawyer and we believe this is the correct approach. Essentially, all code in the project is now made available by the LLVM project under our new license, so you will see that the license headers include that license only. Some of our contributors have contributed code under our old license, and accordingly, we have retained a copy of our old license notice in the top-level files in each project and repository. llvm-svn: 351636
* [AMDGPU] Set metadata access for explicit sectionPiotr Sobczak2018-12-121-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Summary: This patch provides a means to set Metadata section kind for a global variable, if its explicit section name is prefixed with ".AMDGPU.metadata." This could be useful to make the global variable go to an ELF section without any section flags set. * Remove \brief commands from doxygen comments.Adrian Prantl2018-05-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We've been running doxygen with the autobrief option for a couple of years now. This makes the \brief markers into our comments redundant. Since they are a visual distraction and we don't want to encourage more \brief markers in new code either, this patch removes them all. Patch produced by for i in $(git grep -l '\\brief'); do perl -pi -e 's/\\brief //g' $i & done Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D46290 llvm-svn: 331272
* [AMDGPU] Get address space mapping by target triple environmentYaxun Liu2017-03-271-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | As we introduced target triple environment amdgiz and amdgizcl, the address space values are no longer enums. We have to decide the value by target triple. The basic idea is to use struct AMDGPUAS to represent address space values. For address space values which are not depend on target triple, use static const members, so that they don't occupy extra memory space and is equivalent to a compile time constant. Since the struct is lightweight and cheap, it can be created on the fly at the point of usage. Or it can be added as member to a pass and created at the beginning of the run* function. * Target: Change various section classifiers in TargetLoweringObjectFile to ↵Peter Collingbourne2016-10-241-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | take a GlobalObject. These functions are about classifying a global which will actually be emitted, so it does not make sense for them to take a GlobalValue which may for example be an alias. Change the Mach-O object writer and the Hexagon, Lanai and MIPS backends to look through aliases before using TargetLoweringObjectFile interfaces. These are functional changes but all appear to be bug fixes. Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D25917 llvm-svn: 285006

* AMDGPU/SI: Add support for AMD code object version 2.Tom Stellard2016-05-051-18/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Summary: Version 2 is now the default. If you want to emit version 1, use the amdgcn--amdhsa-amdcov1 triple. Reviewers: arsenm, kzhuravl Subscribers: arsenm, llvm-commits Differential Revision: http://reviews.llvm.org/D19283 llvm-svn: 268647
* AMDGPU/SI: Emit constant arrays in the .text sectionTom Stellard2015-12-101-0/+51
Summary: This allows us to remove the END_OF_TEXT_LABEL hack we had been using and simplifies the fixups used to compute the address of constant arrays. Reviewers: arsenm Subscribers: arsenm, llvm-commits Differential Revision: http://reviews.llvm.org/D15257 llvm-svn: 255204
