* [docs] [tools] Fix see also linksAlex Brachet2019-07-041-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Summary: Changes "see also" links to use :manpage: instead of plain text or the form `name|name` which was being treated literally, not as a link. * [docs][tools] Add missing "program" tags to rst filesJames Henderson2019-06-271-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Sphinx allows for definitions of command-line options using `.. option <name>` and references to those options via `:option:<name>`. However, it looks like there is no scoping of these options by default, meaning that links can end up pointing to incorrect documents. See for example the llvm-mca document, which contains references to -o that, prior to this patch, pointed to a different document. What's worse is that these links appear to be non-deterministic in which one is picked (on my machine, some references end up pointing to opt, whereas on the live docs, they point to llvm-dwarfdump, for example). The fix is to add the .. program <name> tag. This essentially namespaces the options (definitions and references) to the named program, ensuring that the links are kept correct. * [AArch64] Add Tiny Code Model for AArch64David Green2018-08-221-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This adds the plumbing for the Tiny code model for the AArch64 backend. This, instead of loading addresses through the normal ADRP;ADD pair used in the Small model, uses a single ADR. The 21 bit range of an ADR means that the code and its statically defined symbols need to be within 1MB of each other. This makes it mostly interesting for embedded applications where we want to fit as much as we can in as small a space as possible. * [docs] Update code block for compatibility with Sphinx 1.5.1Jonas Devlieghere2017-11-061-6/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It is currently not possible to build the documentation with cmake and the same version of Sphinx (1.5.1) used to generate the public facing documentation on llvm.org. When code blocks cannot be parsed by Pygments, it generates a warning which is treated as an error. In addition to being annoying and confusing for developers, this needlessly increases the bar for newcomers that want to get involved. This patch removes the language specifier from the affected block. The result is the same as when parsing fails: the block are not highlighted. llvm-svn: 317472
* Improving lli documentationRenato Golin2015-07-281-124/+44
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Too many people hope lli would act as an emulator when it's actually just a tool to help prototype IR code and test the JIT compiler. This commit makes that fact explicit in the documentation It also migrates the old style bold/italic doc tags to the preferred meta tags (.. option::, :program:, etc). No errors when generating the documents, visual inspection in the HTML result doesn't show any major difference, apart from the slight style change. llvm-svn: 243401
* Remove LowerInvoke's obsolete "-enable-correct-eh-support" optionMark Seaborn2014-03-201-6/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This option caused LowerInvoke to generate code using SJLJ-based exception handling, but there is no code left that interprets the jmp_buf stack that the resulting code maintained (llvm.sjljeh.jblist). This option has been obsolete for a while, and replaced by SjLjEHPrepare. This leaves the default behaviour of LowerInvoke, which is to convert invokes to calls.
