* [Logging] Replace Log::Printf with LLDB_LOG macro (NFC)Jonas Devlieghere2019-07-241-11/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch replaces explicit calls to log::Printf with the new LLDB_LOGF macro. The macro is similar to LLDB_LOG but supports printf-style format strings, instead of formatv-style format strings. So instead of writing: if (log) log->Printf("%s\n", str); You'd write: LLDB_LOG(log, "%s\n", str); This change was done mechanically with the command below. I replaced the spurious if-checks with vim, since I know how to do multi-line replacements with it. find . -type f -name '*.cpp' -exec \ sed -i '' -E 's/log->Printf\(/LLDB_LOGF\(log, /g' "{}" + Differential revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D65128 llvm-svn: 366936

* Fix TestPaths.py on windowsAlex Langford2019-03-071-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | I committed an implementation of GetClangResourceDir on windows but forgot to update this test. I merged the tests like I intended to, but I realized that the test was actually failing. After looking into it, it appears that FileSystem::Resolve was taking the path and setting the FileSpec's Directory to "/path/to/lldb/lib/clang/" and the File to "9.0.0" which isn't what we want. So I removed the resolve line from DefaultComputeClangResourceDir. llvm-svn: 355648
* [ExpressionParser] Implement ComputeClangResourceDir for WindowsAlex Langford2019-03-071-11/+1

* [ExpressionParser] Fix ComputeClangResourceDirectory for windowsAlex Langford2019-03-061-1/+4
| | | | | | | | The function signature of ComputeClangResourceDirectory for windows wasn't updated when the others changed, causing the windows build to fail. This should fix that. llvm-svn: 355471
* [ExpressionParser] Test GetClangResourceDirAlex Langford2019-03-061-26/+38
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Summary: I'm doing this because I plan on implementing `ComputeClangResourceDirectory` on windows so that `GetClangResourceDir` will work. Additionally, I made test_paths make sure that the directory member of the returned FileSpec is not none. This will fail on windows since `ComputeClangResourceDirectory` isn't implemented yet. * Update the file headers across all of the LLVM projects in the monorepoChandler Carruth2019-01-191-4/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | to reflect the new license. We understand that people may be surprised that we're moving the header entirely to discuss the new license. We checked this carefully with the Foundation's lawyer and we believe this is the correct approach. Essentially, all code in the project is now made available by the LLVM project under our new license, so you will see that the license headers include that license only. Some of our contributors have contributed code under our old license, and accordingly, we have retained a copy of our old license notice in the top-level files in each project and repository. llvm-svn: 351636
* Remove header grouping comments.Jonas Devlieghere2018-11-111-1/+0
| | | | | | | | This patch removes the comments grouping header includes. They were added after running IWYU over the LLDB codebase. However they add little value, are often outdates and burdensome to maintain. llvm-svn: 346626
* [FileSystem] Add convenience method to check for directories.Jonas Devlieghere2018-11-081-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Replace calls to LLVM's is_directory with calls to LLDB's FileSytem class. For this I introduced a new convenience method that, like the other methods, takes either a path or filespec. This still uses the LLVM functions under the hood. * [FileSystem] Move path resolution logic out of FileSpecJonas Devlieghere2018-11-011-3/+7
| | | | | | | | | This patch removes the logic for resolving paths out of FileSpec and updates call sites to rely on the FileSystem class instead. Differential revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D53915 llvm-svn: 345890
* Replace HostInfo::GetLLDBPath with specific functionsPavel Labath2018-06-191-4/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Summary: Instead of a function taking an enum value determining which path to return, we now have a suite of functions, each returning a single path kind. This makes it easy to move the python-path function into a specific plugin in a follow-up commit. All the users of GetLLDBPath were converted to call specific functions instead. Most of them were hard-coding the enum value anyway, so this conversion was simple. The only exception was SBHostOS, which I've changed to use a switch on the incoming enum value. * [FileSpec] Make style argument mandatory for SetFile. NFCJonas Devlieghere2018-06-131-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | SetFile has an optional style argument which defaulted to the native style. This patch makes that argument mandatory so clients of the FileSpec class are forced to think about the correct syntax. At the same time this introduces a (protected) convenience method to update the file from within the FileSpec class that keeps the current style. These two changes together prevent a potential pitfall where the style might be forgotten, leading to the path being updated and the style unintentionally being changed to the host style. llvm-svn: 334663

* Remove dependency from Host to clang.Zachary Turner2018-06-041-0/+142
Host depended on clang because HostInfo had a function to get the directory where clang was installed. We move this over to the clang expression parser plugin where it's more at home. Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D47384 llvm-svn: 333933
