| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Commit c110e48cecde6f543da18388322907b05b25e7d2 disabled openssl support on QT 5.6, this has the side-effect of breaking the build of python-pyqt5 because support of openssl is enabled on python-pyqt5 if BR2_PACKAGE_OPENSSL is selected To fix this issue, add a new BR2_PACKAGE_QT5BASE_OPENSSL option in qt5base and use it in python-pyqt5 Fixes: - http://autobuild.buildroot.org/results/e92991308d47649cecc4084e41ab5711ec96831f Signed-off-by: Fabrice Fontaine <fontaine.fabrice@gmail.com> [Peter: make _OPENSSL a blind option, add libressl logic for 5.6.x] Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <peter@korsgaard.com>

* qt5: bump latest version to 5.10.1Gaël PORTAY2018-04-021-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The tarball filename has changed since 5.10. The module suffix *opensource-src* has changed to *everywhere-src*. I introduced the *QT5_SOURCE_TARBALL_PREFIX* variable to set the right filename according to the Qt version. qtwebengine: Select libnss. It is a requirement[1] because OpenSSL certificate validation[2] and NSS bundle[3] was dropped. Add host-libnss and host-libpng to satisfy new requirement to build an internal host-tool. Set ninja host pkg-config tool using environment variable $GN_PKG_CONFIG_HOST[4]. The build system uses pkg-config to get package data for both host and target architectures. Using the same call to pkg-config for both target and host leads to build mismatches: it tries to link a host-tool using target libraries. qt5base: sqlite plugin now uses sqlite3_column_table_name16() so select BR2_PACKAGE_SQLITE_ENABLE_COLUMN_METADATA to make sure it is available. qt5multimedia: libqgsttools was renamed to libQtMultimediaGstTools. The latter name matches the libQt5Multimedia*.so.* pattern so no additional copy command is needed for it anymore. qt5xmlpatterns: Names of the license files have changed: LICENSE.(L)GPLv3 -> LICENSE.(L)GPL3. The new files in fact already existed in 5.9.4 but the old ones were not removed yet. The new files are slightly different: there used to be a Qt header in front of it which is now removed. Also LICENSE.LGPL3 is rewrapped. qt5location, qt5quickcontrols, qt5serialport: Same license files issue, and for LICENSE.GPLv2 as well. LICENSE.GPL2 has the "How to Apply These Terms to Your New Programs" text appended to it. qt5script: Similar license file issues, but the new license files were not present yet. LICENSE.GPLv21 was removed so there is no longer a license file for the LGPL-2.1-covered Qt code. * package/*/Config.in: fix help text check-package warningsThomas Petazzoni2017-12-181-8/+11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This commit fixes the warnings reported by check-package on the help text of all package Config.in files, related to the formatting of the help text: should start with a tab, then 2 spaces, then at most 62 characters. The vast majority of warnings fixed were caused by too long lines. A few warnings were related to spaces being used instead of a tab to indent the help text. * package/qt5: bump latest version to 5.9.1Joshua Henderson2017-07-201-3/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Qt 5.9 is a Long Term Support version [1]. Some license file changes are involved, a new dependency on pcre2, and some filename changes. qt5webkit popped back into the picture for 5.9.1 after being absent for 5.9.0 "officially." QT5_SNAPSHOTS_SITE is removed with this commit as it is not used for qtwebkit anymore. This removes the following patches that have been upstreamed for 5.9.1: - qt5base/5.8.0/0001-fix-parallel-builds-with-qt-freetype-system-libpng.patch [2] - qt5base/5.8.0/0002-fix-VNC-platform-plugin-build-on-big-endian-machines.patch [3] - qt5base/5.8.0/0003-QAtomic-pass-explicit-failure-mode-to-std-atomic-com.patch [4] - qt5base/5.8.0/0003-eglfs-fix-x11-header-related-compile-failure.patch [5] - qt5base/5.8.0/0004-examples-fix-compile-without-gui-module.patch [6] - qt5webkit/0003-Exclude-backtrace-API-for-non-glibc-libraries.patch [7] The qt5webkit patches no longer apply to both the LTS and latest version, so they are moved to per-version directories. * package/qt5: drop option for license approvedYann E. MORIN2017-04-291-4/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | As stated in previous commits, Buildroot only ever uses the free license, and we do not have a click-wrap approval for any such free license for any other package. The option to approve the license now has no prompt and is no longer used anywhere. Legacy handling is not added because it is not useful: when the option was enabled, it meant "accept the open source license", which is now the default and only existing behavior. * package/qt5base: default to approved licenseYann E. MORIN2017-04-291-10/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The only license we can act upon in Buildroot is the publicly available license. Qt can come under non-free licenses, but we have no access to such licenses. The conditions to access the code under those non-free, non-public licenses is unknown. Besides, Qt5 (with Qt) is the only package that has this choice; for other packages in a similar situation, we only use the free, publicly-known licenses. Finally, the name of the tarballs we download clearly hint that they can only be used under the free license. Drop the prompt to the accepted license, and make it mandatory; packages will be adapted in follow-up patches. Signed-off-by: "Yann E. * icu: remove BR2_ARCH_HAS_ATOMICS dependencyThomas Petazzoni2016-01-261-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The BR2_ARCH_HAS_ATOMICS was added because on ARC, atomic instructions may not be provided by the architecture and therefore the compiler does not provide the __sync_*() built-ins. However, since then, icu was changed and is now able to use C++11 atomics, or even no atomic operations at all. In fact, icu will: * If possible, it will use C++11 atomics, which internally rely on the __atomic built-ins. These are available since gcc 4.7, and all architectures provide it. On some architectures, you *must* link with libatomic, on some other architectures, they are available built-in, but in all cases, linking against libatomic does not harm. Thanks to this, even ARC with no atomic support (which was the original reason for adding the BR2_ARCH_HAS_ATOMICS) dependency builds fine, provided -latomic is added to LIBS. * If C++11 atomics are not available, then it falls back to __sync_*() built-ins, which allows compilers older than 4.7 to be supported. * If really no atomic mechanism is available, then it falls back to a basic implementation based on a mutex. Conclusion: - The BR2_ARCH_HAS_ATOMICS dependency is no longer needed. - We need to link with -latomic when gcc >= 4.7 is used. Note that reverse dependencies of icu are also changed accordingly. * directfb: mark as available only for gcc >= 4.5Thomas Petazzoni2015-09-101-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The new DirectFB version does not build with gcc 4.3 from the Blackfin toolchain. One of the reason is that va_copy has some issues, which were fixed in gcc 4.4.0 (https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=36799). There are also some other issues, which were fixed by a patch proposed by Peter Seiderer at http://lists.busybox.net/pipermail/buildroot/2015-February/120281.html. However, it probably doesn't make a lot of sense to carry patches that are not upstream for such old compilers. Instead, this commit takes the action of making DirectFB available only on toolchains using gcc >= 4.5, which was tested with the Arago toolchain. gcc 4.4 could potentially work, but wasn't tested (it is no longer supported by the internal toolchain backend, and we don't have any toolchain based on gcc 4.4), so we take the safe decision of requiring at least gcc 4.5. * Rename BR2_PREFER_STATIC_LIB to BR2_STATIC_LIBSThomas Petazzoni2014-12-111-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since a while, the semantic of BR2_PREFER_STATIC_LIB has been changed from "prefer static libraries when possible" to "use only static libraries". The former semantic didn't make much sense, since the user had absolutely no control/idea of which package would use static libraries, and which packages would not. Therefore, for quite some time, we have been starting to enforce that BR2_PREFER_STATIC_LIB should really build everything with static libraries. As a consequence, this patch renames BR2_PREFER_STATIC_LIB to BR2_STATIC_LIBS, and adjust the Config.in option accordingly. This also helps preparing the addition of other options to select shared, shared+static or just static. Note that we have verified that this commit can be reproduced by simply doing a global rename of BR2_PREFER_STATIC_LIB to BR2_STATIC_LIBS plus adding BR2_PREFER_STATIC_LIB to Config.in.legacy. * qt5: Add an option to select default platformJérôme Pouiller2014-07-161-0/+11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Whithout this path, default platform is automaticaly set (generally set to "eglfs" as defined in qt5base/mkspecs/devices/common/linux_device_pre.conf:1). This choice is not always what the user would like. Thus, user have to manually appends "-platform <BACKEND>" to command line when running any qt5 application. This patch allows user to choose default platform explicitly. [Thomas: slightly improve Config.in help text, from the suggestions given by Yann E. * package/libegl: rename the _HAS and _PROVIDES variablesYann E. MORIN2014-04-051-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The basic rule for a package is to have its options named after the package name. There is no reason this should not also be the case for virtual packages. Besides, this will allow us to switch libegl to use the soon-to-be-introduced virtual-package infrastructure. Signed-off-by: "Yann E. * icu: not available when BR2_BINFMT_FLAT is usedThomas Petazzoni2014-02-201-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | icu does not recognize 'uclinux' as a supported platform. While making it recognize uclinux is easy, there is another problem down the road: icu does very weird things to generate an ELF library containing static data (libicudata.a), and the generated library being ELF, it is not compatible with the FLAT binary format expected by uclinux platforms such as Blackfin in FLAT format. Therefore, we simply disallow the selection of icu on FLAT platforms. Note that adding a dependency on BR2_BINFMT_ELF doesn't work, because BR2_BINFMT_FDPIC is considered to be separate (even if technically FDPIC is a derivative of ELF). That's why the dependency we're adding is "depends on !BR2_BINFMT_FLAT" and not "depends on BR2_BINFMT_ELF".
