* gstreamer: needs dynamic librariesArnout Vandecappelle (Essensium/Mind)2017-11-051-2/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Fixes: http://autobuild.buildroot.net/results/49d/49dcec0bd2f3bb78c18675a9fa5c9c53cc183fd2/ g_cclosure_marshal_VOID__VOID is defined both in libgobject.a and libgstreamer.a. It is probably possible to fix this, but gstreamer0.10 has been deprecated for a long time now and is anyway unlikely to be used in static-only situations, so let's just require dynamic linking. Propagate to the reverse dependencies. opencv3 already did depend on dynamic libs. * package/lib*: fix wrapping of Config.in help textAdam Duskett2017-07-311-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The check-package script when ran gives warnings on text wrapping on all of these Config files. This patch cleans up all warnings related to the text wrapping for the Config files starting with lib in the package directory. The appropriate indentation is: <tab><2 spaces><62 chars> See http://nightly.buildroot.org/#writing-rules-config-in for more information. * package/l*/Config.in: fix ordering of statementsAdam Duskett2017-05-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The check-package script when ran gives warnings on ordering issues on all of these Config files. This patch cleans up all warnings related to the ordering in the Config files for packages starting with the letter l in the package directory. The appropriate ordering is: type, default, depends on, select, help See http://nightly.buildroot.org/#_config_files for more information. * boot, package: use SPDX short identifier for LGPLv2.1/LGPLv2.1+Rahul Bedarkar2017-04-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | We want to use SPDX identifier for license string as much as possible. SPDX short identifier for LGPLv2.1/LGPLv2.1+ is LGPL-2.1/LGPL-2.1+. This change is done using following command. find . -name "*.mk" | xargs sed -ri '/LICENSE( )?[\+:]?=/s/LGPLv2.1(\+)?/LGPL-2.1\1/g' Signed-off-by: Rahul Bedarkar <rahulbedarkar89@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@free-electrons.com>
* libplayer: add back missing endifPeter Korsgaard2017-03-091-0/+1
| | | | | | | Commit 0f5b3d0fd81 (libplayer: remove broken Python bindings) accidently removed an endif from Config.in, breaking menuconfig. Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <peter@korsgaard.com>
* libplayer: remove broken Python bindingsArnout Vandecappelle2017-03-092-11/+0
| | | | | | | | | | This option has been marked as broken since 2011. No need for legacy handling. And anyway, nowadays we use automatic dependencies for bindings. * package/mplayer: needs BR2_TOOLCHAIN_HAS_SYNC_4Bernd Kuhls2016-07-041-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Even though mplayer bundles the ffmpeg code base (and ffmpeg is not affected by this issue), mplayer uses its own build system and doesn't test properly for the availability (or not) of atomic operations. In order to keep things simple, we simply make mplayer depend on the availability of atomic operations, since it assumes they are available. The reverse dependency is propagated to libplayer and tovid. * package: remove the trailing slash sign from <PKG>_SITE variableJerzy Grzegorek2014-07-311-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Since the trailing slash is stripped from $($(PKG)_SITE) by pkg-generic.mk: $(call DOWNLOAD,$($(PKG)_SITE:/=)/$($(PKG)_SOURCE)) so it is redundant. This patch removes it from $(PKG)_SITE variable for BR consistency. * arch/arm: drop ARM(7TDMI/720T/740T) supportGustavo Zacarias2014-05-081-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The toolchain currently doesn't build for nommu ARM and is in need of serious work. Problem is there are no emulation targets and real ARM(7TDMI/720T/740T) hardware that's capable of running linux (enough memory, having a memory controller...) is VERY rare and uses very old versions to make it usable. The ARM nommu focus should go into Cortex M series processors that are obtainable at reasonable cost on modern hardware that has external memory controllers. * libglib2: needs threadsSpenser Gilliland2013-07-271-2/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This commit adds a dependency of the libglib2 package on thread support in the toolchain, since upstream libglib2 doesn't build without thread support. The commit is rather large as it involves propagating the dependency on thread support to all reverse dependencies of the libglib2 package. [Thomas: squash all patches into one, make a few minor fixes, the most important one being to not add comments about MMU requirement when a package doesn't work on !MMU platforms.] Signed-off-by: Spenser Gilliland <spenser@gillilanding.com>
