* package/fetchmail: use pkg-config to find opensslFabrice Fontaine2019-03-284-36/+70
| | | | | | | | | | | | | openssl can have multiples dependencies such as libatomic on sparcv8 32 bits so drop first patch and add a new patch to use pkg-config Fixes: - http://autobuild.buildroot.org/results/58e5aa7c6ba8fe7474071d7a3cba6ed3a1b4cff4 Signed-off-by: Fabrice Fontaine <fontaine.fabrice@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@bootlin.com> (cherry picked from commit 3aa3a72b45238c4cf240b947531d253a53a46d35) Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <peter@korsgaard.com>
* package/f*: fix wrapping of Config.in help textAdam Duskett2017-07-311-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The check-package script when ran gives warnings on text wrapping on all of these Config files. This patch cleans up all warnings related to the text wrapping for the Config files starting with the letter f in the package directory. The appropriate indentation is: <tab><2 spaces><62 chars> See http://nightly.buildroot.org/#writing-rules-config-in for more information. * fetchmail: use the new gettext logicThomas Petazzoni2017-07-051-6/+2
| | | | | | | | This commit switches to use the new gettext logic, which involves using TARGET_NLS_DEPENDENCIES instead of hand-encoded dependencies on gettext/host-gettext. Signed-off-by: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@free-electrons.com>
* fetchmail: adjust zlib handlingThomas Petazzoni2017-05-312-1/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | fetchmail itself does not need zlib, there is no reference to it in its source, so the "select BR2_PACKAGE_ZLIB" is not necessary. Moreover, "zlib" was not added to FETCHMAIL_DEPENDENCIES (but was anyway in the dependency chain through openssl). In addition, LIBS="-lz" is only needed in static linking configurations, to help fetchmail's configure script find OpenSSL (it doesn't use pkg-config unfortunately). * fetchmail: gettext is not mandatoryThomas Petazzoni2017-05-312-3/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Even when locales are enabled, gettext is not mandatory to build fetchmail, i.e the following defconfig builds fine: BR2_arm=y BR2_TOOLCHAIN_EXTERNAL=y BR2_TOOLCHAIN_EXTERNAL_CUSTOM=y BR2_TOOLCHAIN_EXTERNAL_DOWNLOAD=y BR2_TOOLCHAIN_EXTERNAL_URL="http://autobuild.buildroot.org/toolchains/tarballs/br-arm-full-2017.02-1096-g54a5333.tar.bz2" BR2_TOOLCHAIN_EXTERNAL_GCC_4_8=y BR2_TOOLCHAIN_EXTERNAL_HEADERS_3_10=y BR2_TOOLCHAIN_EXTERNAL_LOCALE=y BR2_TOOLCHAIN_EXTERNAL_CXX=y BR2_INIT_NONE=y BR2_SYSTEM_BIN_SH_NONE=y BR2_PACKAGE_FETCHMAIL=y However, if gettext provides libintl, it gets used. Therefore this commit moves gettext from a mandatory dependency to an optional dependency. Signed-off-by: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@free-electrons.com>
* package/f*/Config.in: fix ordering of statementsAdam Duskett2017-04-291-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The check-package script when ran gives warnings on ordering issues on all of these Config files. This patch cleans up all warnings related to the ordering in the Config files for packages starting with the letter f in the package directory. The appropriate ordering is: type, default, depends on, select, help See http://nightly.buildroot.org/#_config_files for more information. * boot, linux, package: use SPDX short identifier for GPLv2/GPLv2+Rahul Bedarkar2017-04-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | We want to use SPDX identifier for license strings as much as possible. SPDX short identifier for GPLv2/GPLv2+ is GPL-2.0/GPL-2.0+. This change is done by using following command. find . -name "*.mk" | xargs sed -ri '/LICENSE( )?[\+:]?=/s/\<GPLv2\>/GPL-2.0/g' Signed-off-by: Rahul Bedarkar <rahulbedarkar89@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@free-electrons.com>
* fetchmail: fix post install target hookThomas Petazzoni2016-06-091-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Due to a typo in commit a890032596aa5e6afbfdbcccc01fcb07c9a4ef8c ("package/fetchmail: fix *.pyc compilation with python-3"), the post install target hook was in fact not registered, and the build failure kept showing up. This commit fixes the typo. Signed-off-by: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@free-electrons.com>
* package/fetchmail: fix *.pyc compilation with python-3Samuel Martin2016-06-081-0/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This change removes the fetchmailconf.py python module when the python interpreter is python-3, because this module is not yet python-3 compliant. * package: add hashes for SourceForge-hosted packagesYann E. MORIN2014-12-281-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since SourceForge sometimes serves us faulty tarballs, we can tons of autobuild failures: http://autobuild.buildroot.org/results/9fb/9fba5bf086a4e7a29e5f7156ec43847db7aacfc4/ http://autobuild.buildroot.org/results/6c8/6c837b244c45ac3b3a887734a371cd6d226cf216/ ... Fix that by adding hash files for all SourceForge-hosted packages (thos etht did not already have it). We normally prefer to use hashes published by upstream, but hunting them all one by one is a tedious task, so those hashes were all locally computed with a script that searched for SF-hosted packages, downloades the associated tarball, computed the hash, and stored it in the corresponding .hash file. Also, SF publishes sha1 hashes, while I used the stronger sha256, since sha1 is now considered to be relatively weak. Signed-off-by: "Yann E. * package: remove the trailing slash sign from <PKG>_SITE variableJerzy Grzegorek2014-07-311-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Since the trailing slash is stripped from $($(PKG)_SITE) by pkg-generic.mk: $(call DOWNLOAD,$($(PKG)_SITE:/=)/$($(PKG)_SOURCE)) so it is redundant. This patch removes it from $(PKG)_SITE variable for BR consistency. * package/fetchmail: gettextize to match the new gettext versionBernd Kuhls2014-07-271-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The gettext macros in the package are from a gettext version older than the one we have in Buildroot, so autoreconf fails. Run gettextize prior to running autoreconf, like we do in wget.
