* ALSA: ua101: Fix unlocked snd_pcm_stop() callTakashi Iwai2013-07-151-2/+12

* ALSA: USB: adjust for changed 3.8 USB APIClemens Ladisch2013-04-291-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The recent changes in the USB API ("implement new semantics for URB_ISO_ASAP") made the former meaning of the URB_ISO_ASAP flag the default, and changed this flag to mean that URBs can be delayed. This is not the behaviour wanted by any of the audio drivers because it leads to discontinuous playback with very small period sizes. Therefore, our URBs need to be submitted without this flag. | * ALSA: module_param: make bool parameters really boolRusty Russell2011-12-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | module_param(bool) used to counter-intuitively take an int. In fddd5201 (mid-2009) we allowed bool or int/unsigned int using a messy trick. It's time to remove the int/unsigned int option. For this version it'll simply give a warning, but it'll break next kernel version. * | USB: convert sound/* to use module_usb_driver()Greg Kroah-Hartman2011-11-181-13/+1
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This converts the drivers in sound/* to use the module_usb_driver() macro which makes the code smaller and a bit simpler. Added bonus is that it removes some unneeded kernel log messages about drivers loading and/or unloading. * ALSA: ua101: fix crash when unpluggingClemens Ladisch2011-11-061-7/+21
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | If the device is unplugged while running, it is possible for a PCM device to be closed after the disconnect callback has returned. This means that kill_stream_urb() and disable_iso_interface() would try to access already-invalid or freed USB data structures. The function free_usb_related_resources() was intended to prevent this, but forgot to clear the affected variables. * ALSA: usb-audio: refactor codeDaniel Mack2010-03-051-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Clean up the usb audio driver by factoring out a lot of functions to separate files. Code for procfs, quirks, urbs, format parsers etc all got a new home now. Moved almost all special quirk handling to quirks.c and introduced new generic functions to handle them, so the exceptions do not pollute the whole driver. Renamed usbaudio.c to card.c because this is what it actually does now. Renamed usbmidi.c to midi.c for namespace clarity. Removed more things from usbaudio.h. The non-standard drivers were adopted accordingly. Signed-off-by: Daniel Mack <daniel@caiaq.de> Cc: Clemens Ladisch <clemens@ladisch.de> Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de>
* ALSA: usb-audio: header file cleanupsDaniel Mack2010-03-051-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Rename snd-usb-lib to snd-usbmidi-lib as MIDI functions are the only thing it actually contains. Introduce a new header file to only declare these functions. Introduced usbmixer.h for all functions exported by usbmixer.c. Signed-off-by: Daniel Mack <daniel@caiaq.de> Cc: Clemens Ladisch <clemens@ladisch.de> Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de>
