* USB: host: whci: Remove redundant license textGreg Kroah-Hartman2017-11-071-14/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Now that the SPDX tag is in all USB files, that identifies the license in a specific and legally-defined manner. So the extra GPL text wording can be removed as it is no longer needed at all. This is done on a quest to remove the 700+ different ways that files in the kernel describe the GPL license text. And there's unneeded stuff like the address (sometimes incorrect) for the FSF which is never needed. No copyright headers or other non-license-description text was removed. * USB: add SPDX identifiers to all remaining files in drivers/usb/Greg Kroah-Hartman2017-11-041-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It's good to have SPDX identifiers in all files to make it easier to audit the kernel tree for correct licenses. Update the drivers/usb/ and include/linux/usb* files with the correct SPDX license identifier based on the license text in the file itself. The SPDX identifier is a legally binding shorthand, which can be used instead of the full boiler plate text. This work is based on a script and data from Thomas Gleixner, Philippe Ombredanne, and Kate Stewart. * USB: wusb: add wusb_phy_rate sysfs file to host controllersDavid Vrabel2009-12-111-8/+1
| | | | | | | | | Add the wusb_phy_rate sysfs file to Wireless USB host controllers. This sets the maximum PHY rate that will be used for all connected devices. Signed-off-by: David Vrabel <david.vrabel@csr.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
* USB: whci-hcd: support urbs with scatter-gather listsDavid Vrabel2009-12-111-2/+3
| | | | | | | | | | Support urbs with scatter-gather lists by trying to fit sg list elements into page lists in one or more qTDs. qTDs must end on a wMaxPacketSize boundary so if this isn't possible the urb's sg list must be copied into bounce buffers. * USB: whci-hcd: make endpoint_reset method asyncDavid Vrabel2009-09-231-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | usb_hcd_endpoint_reset() may be called in atomic context and must not sleep. So make whci-hcd's endpoint_reset() asynchronous. URBs submitted while the reset is in progress will be queued (on the std list) and transfers will resume once the reset is complete. * USB: whci-hcd: provide a endpoint_reset methodDavid Vrabel2009-04-171-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | Provide a endpoint_reset method to reset sequence number and current window. This QHead information can only be changed while the qset is not in a schedule. Signed-off-by: David Vrabel <david.vrabel@csr.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
* wusb: do a proper channel stopDavid Vrabel2008-10-281-0/+2
| | | | | | | | When stopping the WUSB channel the host should send Channel Stop IEs giving the WUSB Channel Time of the last MMC. Both WHCI and HWA hosts provide a channel stop command for this. Signed-off-by: David Vrabel <david.vrabel@csr.com>
* wusb: WHCI host controller driverDavid Vrabel2008-09-171-0/+416
A driver for Wireless USB host controllers that comply with the Wireless Host Controller Interface (HCI) specification as published by Intel. The latest publically available version of the specification (0.95) is supported (except for isochronous transfers). Build fixes by Randy Dunlap <rdunlap@xenotime.net> Signed-off-by: David Vrabel <david.vrabel@csr.com>
