* [CPUFREQ] ondemand governor automatic downscalingDave Jones2005-05-311-92/+25
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | [PATCH] [4/5] ondemand governor automatic downscaling Here is a change of policy for the ondemand governor. The modification concerns the frequency downscaling. Instead of decreasing to a lower frequency when the CPU usage is under 20%, this new policy automatically scales to the optimal frequency. The optimal frequency being the lowest frequency which provides enough power to not trigger the upscaling policy. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
