* KVM: Call common update function when ioapic entry changed.Yang Zhang2013-04-161-6/+0
| | | | | | | | | | Both TMR and EOI exit bitmap need to be updated when ioapic changed or vcpu's id/ldr/dfr changed. So use common function instead eoi exit bitmap specific function. * x86, apicv: add virtual interrupt delivery supportYang Zhang2013-01-291-0/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Virtual interrupt delivery avoids KVM to inject vAPIC interrupts manually, which is fully taken care of by the hardware. This needs some special awareness into existing interrupr injection path: - for pending interrupt, instead of direct injection, we may need update architecture specific indicators before resuming to guest. - A pending interrupt, which is masked by ISR, should be also considered in above update action, since hardware will decide when to inject it at right time. Current has_interrupt and get_interrupt only returns a valid vector from injection p.o.v. * KVM: ia64: define kvm_lapic_enabled() to fix a compile errorTakuya Yoshikawa2010-10-241-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The following patch commit 57ce1659316f4ca298919649f9b1b55862ac3826 KVM: x86: In DM_LOWEST, only deliver interrupts to vcpus with enabled LAPIC's ignored the fact that kvm_irq_delivery_to_apic() was also used by ia64. We define kvm_lapic_enabled() to fix a compile error caused by this. This will have the same effect as reverting the problematic patch for ia64. * KVM: change the way how lowest priority vcpu is calculatedGleb Natapov2009-06-101-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | The new way does not require additional loop over vcpus to calculate the one with lowest priority as one is chosen during delivery bitmap construction. Signed-off-by: Gleb Natapov <gleb@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Marcelo Tosatti <mtosatti@redhat.com>
* KVM: consolidate ioapic/ipi interrupt delivery logicGleb Natapov2009-06-101-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | Use kvm_apic_match_dest() in kvm_get_intr_delivery_bitmask() instead of duplicating the same code. Use kvm_get_intr_delivery_bitmask() in apic_send_ipi() to figure out ipi destination instead of reimplementing the logic.
