* ARM: s3c64xx: use common debug-ll implementationArnd Bergmann2015-12-011-38/+0
| | | | | | | | | The uart on s3c64xx is essentially the same as on s3c24xx, so we can share a single assembler file. However, the addresses are different, and we need to add the respective Kconfig magic to get the right addresses. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
* ARM: SAMSUNG: Replace inclusion of plat/regs-serial.h header fileTushar Behera2014-02-141-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | regs-serial.h only includes linux/serial_s3c.h. Include this header directly to remove unnecessary platform dependency. * ARM: exynos: move debug-macro.S to include/debug/Arnd Bergmann2013-04-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | The move is necessary to support early debug output on exynos with multiplatform configurations. This implies also moving the plat/debug-macro.S file, but we are leaving the remaining users of that file in place, to avoid adding large numbers of extra configuration options to Kconfig.debug Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
* ARM: add an extra temp register to the low level debugging addruart macroNicolas Pitre2011-09-261-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Some platforms (like OMAP not to name it) are doing rather complicated hacks just to determine the base UART address to use. Let's give their addruart macro some slack by providing an extra work register which will allow for much needed cleanups. This is basically a no-op as this commit is only adding the extra argument to the macro but no one is using it yet. * arm: return both physical and virtual addresses from addruartJeremy Kerr2010-10-201-6/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Rather than checking the MMU status in every instance of addruart, do it once in kernel/debug.S, and change the existing addruart macros to return both physical and virtual addresses. The main debug code can then select the appropriate address to use. This will also allow us to retreive the address of a uart for the MMU state that we're not current in. Updated with fixes for OMAP from Jason Wang <jason77.wang@gmail.com> and Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>, and fix for versatile express from Lorenzo Pieralisi <lorenzo.pieralisi@arm.com>. * ARM: SAMSUNG: Fixup commit 4e6d488af37980d224cbf298224db6173673f362Ben Dooks2010-03-151-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Commit 4e6d488af37980d224cbf298224db6173673f362 either missed out the following machine files or somehow managed to clash between merges. Fixup the three files missing the second parameter to addruart macro to allow them to build. Fixes the following warnings in arch/arm/kernel/debug.c: arch/arm/kernel/debug.S: Assembler messages: arch/arm/kernel/debug.S:167: Error: too many positional arguments arch/arm/kernel/debug.S:183: Error: too many positional arguments Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
* ARM: S3C64XX: Merge mach-s3c6400 and mach-s3c6410Ben Dooks2010-01-261-0/+39
As per discussions with Russell King on linux-arm-kernel, it appears that both mach-s3c6400 and mach-s3c6410 are so close together that they should simply be merged into mach-s3c64xx. Note, this patch does not eliminate any of the bits that are still common, it is simply a move of the two directories together, any further common code will be eliminated or moved in further patches.
