* ARM: 8366/1: move Dual-Timer SP804 driver to drivers/clocksourceSudeep Holla2015-06-021-24/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The ARM Dual-Timer SP804 module is peripheral found not only on ARM32 platforms but also on ARM64 platforms. This patch moves the driver out of arch/arm to driver/clocksource so that it can be used on ARM64 platforms also. * ARM: 8365/1: introduce sp804_timer_disable and remove arm_timer.h inclusionSudeep Holla2015-06-021-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The header asm/hardware/arm_timer.h is included in various machine specific files to access TIMER_CTRL and initialise to a known state. This patch introduces a new function sp804_timer_disable to disable the SP804 timers and uses the same for initialising the timers to known(off) state, thereby removing the dependency on the header asm/hardware/arm_timer.h This change is in prepartion to move sp804 timer support out of arch/arm so that it can be used on ARM64 platforms. * ARM: timer-sp: convert to use CLKSRC_OF initRob Herring2013-04-111-4/+12
| | | | | | | This adds CLKSRC_OF based init for sp804 timer. The clock initialization is refactored to support retrieving the clock(s) from the DT. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <rob.herring@calxeda.com>
* ARM: timer-sp: add sched_clock supportRob Herring2012-02-091-1/+14
| | | | | | | Add a sched_clock support for the sp804 timer. The clocksource timer can optionally initialize itself as sched_clock timer. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <rob.herring@calxeda.com>
* clockevents: ARM sp804: allow clockevent name to be specifiedRussell King2011-05-231-1/+1
| | | | | | | This allows platforms to specify the clcokevent name upon registration. Acked-by: Catalin Marinas <catalin.marinas@arm.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* clocksource: ARM sp804: allow clocksource name to be specifiedRussell King2011-05-231-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | This allows platforms to specify the clocksource name upon registration, which is necessary should they wish to register more than one sp804 clocksource. Acked-by: Catalin Marinas <catalin.marinas@arm.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* ARM: 6432/1: move timer-sp.c from versatile to commonRob Herring2010-11-041-0/+2
From: Rob Herring <rob.herring@smooth-stone.com> The timer-sp h/w used on versatile platforms can also be used for other platforms, so move it to a common location. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <rob.herring@smooth-stone.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
