* ARM: dts: imx51-babbage: Make DVI and WVGA panel functionalFabio Estevam2013-10-091-0/+33
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently we get the following errors on imx51-babbage: /display@di0: could not find display-timings node /display@di0: no timings specified /display@di1: could not find display-timings node /display@di1: no timings specified imx-drm imx-drm: failed to allocate buffer with size 0 Provide timing values for IPU1, which is connected to a DVI bridge and to IPU2, which can be connected to the WVGA panel, so that both of them can be functional. While at it, disable the WVGA panel, so that DVI output becomes the default one. Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@freescale.com> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org>
* ARM: dts: i.MX51: Separate TXD/RXD and RTS/CTS pinmux entries for UARTsAlexander Shiyan2013-09-261-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | RTS/CTS pins can be used for different purposes, so create separate definitions for these pins. Signed-off-by: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru> Acked-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org>
* ARM: i.MX5 clocks: Remove optional clock setup (CKIH1) from i.MX51 templateAlexander Shiyan2013-08-221-0/+4
| | | | | | | | External high frequency clock CKIH1 is optional for i.MX51, so move it setup into boards where it is used. Signed-off-by: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org>
* ARM: dts: i.MX51 babbage: Add spi-cs-high property to pmicSascha Hauer2013-08-221-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | The mc13892 driver knows that it needs spi-cs-high, so the mc13892 will work. The dataflash also connected to this bus though can only be probed when the mc13892 is inactive. Due to driver potential differences in the probe order we can only make sure the mc13892 is inactive when we put the information into the devicetree. * ARM: dts: imx51-babbage: Pass a real clock to the codecFabio Estevam2013-07-151-1/+12
| | | | | | | | | On imx51_babbage the codec clock is activated via GPIO4_26. Provide a real clock to the sgtl5000 codec via device tree. Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@freescale.com> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org>
* pinctrl: imx: move hard-coding data into device treeShawn Guo2013-04-091-7/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently, all imx pinctrl drivers maintain a big array of struct imx_pin_reg which hard-codes data like register offset and mux mode setting for each pin function. Every time a new imx SoC support is added, we need to add such a big mount of data. With moving to single kernel build, it's only matter of time to be blamed on memory consuming. With DTC pre-processor support in place, the patch moves all these data into device tree by redefining the PIN_FUNC_ID in imxXX-pinfunc.h and changing the PIN_FUNC_ID parsing code a little bit. The pin id gets re-numbered based on mux register offset, or config register offset if the pin has no mux register, so that kernel can identify the pin id from register offsets provided by device tree. As a bonus point of the change, those arbitrary magic numbers standing for particular PIN_FUNC_ID in device tree sources are now replaced by macros to improve the readability of dts files. * ARM: imx: use #include for all device treesShawn Guo2013-04-091-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Replace /include/ (dtc) with #include (C pre-processor) for all imx DT files, so that gcc -E handles the entire include tree, and hence any of those files can #include some other file e.g. for constant definitions. This allows future use of #defines and header files in order to define names for various constants, such as pinctrl settings. Use of those features will increase the readability of the device tree files. Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org>
* ARM i.MX51 babbage: Add keypad supportLiu Ying2013-02-101-0/+22
| | | | | | | | | | | The keypad is on the accessory board of i.MX51 babbage main board and is driven by Keypad Port(KPP) in SoC. The keymap is the same to i.MX25 3stack platform as the accessory board schematic tells that it is designed in this way. * ARM: dts: imx: use nodes label in board dtsShawn Guo2013-02-101-232/+224
| | | | | | | | | Following omap3-evm.dts way, it changes all imx dts files to use label in board dts to refer to nodes defined by soc dtsi. Thus, the board dts files become easier to read and edit with the least indentation levels. Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org>
* ARM i.MX51 babbage: Add display supportSascha Hauer2012-11-161-0/+16
| | | | | | | | | | The babbage board has a DVI-I output which allows to output analog and digital signals simultaneously. This patch adds support for it to the devicetree. The DDC signals are not wired up on the board, so DRM will fall back on default VESA modes. Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de> Acked-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | Commit 88cde8b (ARM: dts: imx: update #interrupt-cells for gpio nodes) changes gpio #interrupt-cells from 1 to 2 without updating the users.
