* usb: musb-new: CONFIG_MUSB prefix replacement with CONFIG_USB_MUSBPaul Kocialkowski2015-08-051-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | USB-related options are usually prefixed with CONFIG_USB and platform-specific adaptation for the MUSB controller already have a CONFIG_USB_MUSB prefix, so this switches all MUSB-related options to a CONFIG_USB_MUSB prefix, for consistency. * musb: Allow musb_platform_enable to return an error codeHans de Goede2015-07-211-0/+18
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Allow musb_platform_enable to return an error code and propagate it up to usb_lowlevel_init(). This allows moving the checks for an external vbus being present to be moved from platform_init to platform_enable, so that the user can unplug a charger, plug in a host adapter with a usb-device, do a "usb reset" and have things working. This also allows adding a check for the id-pin to platform_enable, so that it can short circuit the 1s delay in usb_lowlevel_init() when no host cable is plugged in and thus waiting for a device to show up is useless. Note that all the changes to code shared with the kernel are wrapped in the kernel. Signed-off-by: Hans de Goede <hdegoede@redhat.com> Acked-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* musb-new: port of Linux musb driverIlya Yanok2012-11-201-0/+623
Existing U-Boot musb driver has no support for the new gadget framework and also seems to have other limitations. As gadget framework is ported from Linux it seems pretty natural to port musb gadget driver as well. This driver supports both host and peripheral modes. This is not a replacement for current musb driver (at least now) as there are still some consumers of the old UDC interface. No DMA operation support included, CONFIG_MUSB_PIO_ONLY should be defined. Virtual root hub device is not implemented. Known problems: with no devices connected usb_lowlevel_start() fails. Signed-off-by: Ilya Yanok <ilya.yanok@cogentembedded.com>
