* include: move various macros to include/linux/kernel.hMasahiro Yamada2014-11-201-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | U-Boot has imported various utility macros from Linux scattering them to various places without consistency. In include/common.h are min, max, min3, max3, ARRAY_SIZE, ALIGN, container_of, DIV_ROUND_UP, etc. In include/linux/compat.h are min_t, max_t, round_up, round_down, etc. We also have duplicated defines of min_t in some *.c files. Moreover, we are suffering from too cluttered include/common.h. This commit moves various macros that originate in include/linux/kernel.h of Linux to their original position. Note: This commit simply moves the macros; the macros roundup, min, max, min2, max3, ARRAY_SIZE are different from those of Linux at this point. * ARM: remove CONFIG_ARM920T definesMasahiro Yamada2014-11-201-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | CONFIG_CPU_ARM920T was introduced into Kconfig by commit 2e07c249a67e (kconfig: arm: introduce symbol for ARM CPUs). This commit removes all the defines of CONFIG_ARM920T and replaces the only reference in drivers/usb/host/ohci-hcd.c with CONFIG_CPU_ARM920T. * usb: create common header virtual root hub descriptorsStephen Warren2014-03-101-97/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Many USB host controller drivers contain almost identical copies of the same virtual root hub descriptors. Put these into a common file to avoid duplication. Note that there were some very minor differences between the descriptors in the various files, such as: - USB 1.0 vs. USB 1.1 - Manufacturer/Device ID - Max packet size - String content I assume these aren't relevant. * usb: new board-specific USB init interfaceMateusz Zalega2013-10-201-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This commit unifies board-specific USB initialization implementations under one symbol (usb_board_init), declaration of which is available in usb.h. New API allows selective initialization of USB controllers whenever needed. * arm: Remove support for unused s3c64xxBenoît Thébaudeau2013-04-121-1/+0
| | | | | | | | Following the removal of the smdk6400 board, the s3c64xx SoC becomes unused, so remove associated code. It will still be possible to restore it later from the Git history if necessary. Signed-off-by: Benoît Thébaudeau <benoit.thebaudeau@advansee.com>
* usb: use linux/usb/ch9.h instead of usbdescriptors.hIlya Yanok2012-11-201-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Linux usb/ch9.h seems to have all the same information (and more) as usbdescriptors.h so use the former instead of the later one. As a consequense of this change USB_SPEED_* values don't correspond directly to EHCI speed encoding anymore, I've added necessary recoding in EHCI driver. Also there is no point to put speed into pipe anymore so it's removed and a bunch of host drivers fixed to look at usb_device->speed instead. Old usbdescriptors.h included is not removed as it seems to be used by old USB device code. This makes usb.h and usbdevice.h incompatible. Fortunately the only place that tries to include both are the old MUSB code and it needs usb.h only for USB_DMA_MINALIGN used in aligned attribute on musb_regs structure but this attribute seems to be unneeded (old MUSB code doesn't support any DMA at all). * USB: Fix strict aliasing in ohci-hcdTroy Kisky2012-09-011-39/+31
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | commit 5f6aa03fda2a0a79940765865c1e4266be8a75f8 USB: Fix complaints about strict aliasing in OHCI-HCD tried to fix this, but gcc4.4 still complains. So, this patch basically reverts the above and does a simpler fix. also, the above commit incorrectly changed /* corresponds to data_buf[4-7] */ datab [1] = 0; to /* corresponds to databuf.u8[4-7] */ databuf.u8[1] = 0; This patch also fixes that. * usb: replace wait_ms() with mdelay()Mike Frysinger2012-03-191-14/+14
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Common code has a mdelay() func, so use that instead of the usb-specific wait_ms() func. This also fixes the build errors: ohci-hcd.c: In function 'submit_common_msg': /usr/local/src/u-boot/blackfin/include/usb.h:202:44: sorry, unimplemented: inlining failed in call to 'wait_ms': function body not available ohci-hcd.c:1519:9: sorry, unimplemented: called from here /usr/local/src/u-boot/blackfin/include/usb.h:202:44: sorry, unimplemented: inlining failed in call to 'wait_ms': function body not available ohci-hcd.c:1816:10: sorry, unimplemented: called from here /usr/local/src/u-boot/blackfin/include/usb.h:202:44: sorry, unimplemented: inlining failed in call to 'wait_ms': function body not available ohci-hcd.c:1827:10: sorry, unimplemented: called from here /usr/local/src/u-boot/blackfin/include/usb.h:202:44: sorry, unimplemented: inlining failed in call to 'wait_ms': function body not available ohci-hcd.c:1844:10: sorry, unimplemented: called from here /usr/local/src/u-boot/blackfin/include/usb.h:202:44: sorry, unimplemented: inlining failed in call to 'wait_ms': function body not available ohci-hcd.c:1563:11: sorry, unimplemented: called from here /usr/local/src/u-boot/blackfin/include/usb.h:202:44: sorry, unimplemented: inlining failed in call to 'wait_ms': function body not available ohci-hcd.c:1583:9: sorry, unimplemented: called from here make[1]: *** [ohci-hcd.o] Error 1 Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org> Acked-by: Marek Vasut <marex@denx.de>
