* spi: kirkwood_spi: Add support for multiple chip-selects on MVEBUStefan Roese2016-04-061-0/+14
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently only chip-select 0 is supported by the kirkwood SPI driver. The Armada XP / 38x SoCs also use this driver and support multiple chip selects. This patch adds support for multiple CS on MVEBU. The register definitions are restructured a bit with this patch. Grouping them to the corresponding registers. * spi: kirkwood_spi.c: Add driver model supportStefan Roese2016-01-141-63/+159
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch adds driver model support to the kirkwood SPI driver. Which is also used on the MVEBU SoC's, now being converted to DM. Non-DM support is still available for the "older" platforms using this driver, like kirkwood. * spi: kirkwood_spi.c: Some fixes and cleanupStefan Roese2014-09-241-6/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch introduces the clrsetbits_le32() accessor functions in the kirkwood SPI driver. Note that it also includes a fix: - writel(~KWSPI_CSN_ACT | KWSPI_SMEMRDY, &spireg->ctrl); + writel(KWSPI_SMEMRDY, &spireg->ctrl); Here the bit KWSPI_CSN_ACT (0x1) should have been cleared. Instead 0xfffffffe is written into this control register. This is the main reason to use the clrsetbits() functions now. As they make clearing bits much less error prone. Additionally KWSPI_IRQUNMASK is not used in spi_cs_activate() and spi_cs_deactivate() any more. Its the wrong macro but has the same value as the correct one (KWSPI_CSN_ACT). This is in preparation for use of this driver on the Marvell Armada XP platform as well. * kirkwood: make MPP arrays static constAlbert ARIBAUD2013-01-091-7/+5
| | | | | | | | | | This saves stack and code memory for local copy, and consumes initialized data memory. For 22 of the 29 kirkwood-based boards, this results in a global saving of about 30 bytes. For 7 of them, it results in an increase of 6 to 14 bytes. Signed-off-by: Albert ARIBAUD <albert.u.boot@aribaud.net>
* kw_spi: fix clock prescaler computationValentin Longchamp2012-09-031-2/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The computation was not correct with low clock values: setting a 1MHz clock would result in an overlap that would then configure a 25Mhz clock. This patch implements a correct computation method according to the kirkwood functionnal spec. table 600 (Serial Memory Interface Configuration Register). * kw_spi: add weak functions board_spi_claim/release_busValentin Longchamp2012-07-071-1/+12
| | | | | | | | | | This allows a final, board specific, step in the claim/relase_bus function for the SPI controller, which may be needed for some hardware designs. * kw_spi: support spi_claim/release_bus functionsValentin Longchamp2012-07-071-0/+36
| | | | | | | | | | | | | These two function nows ensure that the MPP is configured correctly for the SPI controller before any SPI access, and restore the initial configuration when the access is over. Since the used pins for the SPI controller can differ (2 possibilities for each signal), the used pins are configured with CONFIG_SYS_KW_SPI_MPP. * kw_spi: backup and reset the MPP of the chosen CS pinValentin Longchamp2012-07-071-9/+6
