* kconfig: add config option for shell promptNikita Kiryanov2015-08-131-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add option to set shell prompt string from menuconfig and migrate boards globally. The migration is done as follows: - Boards that explicitly and unconditionally set CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT had the entry moved to their defconfig files. - Boards that defined some kind of #ifdef logic which selects the CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT (for example qemu-mips) got an #undef CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT right before the #ifdef logic and were left alone. - This change forces CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT to be a per board decision, and thus CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT was removed from all <soc>_common.h and <arch>_common.h files. This results in a streamlined default value across platforms, and includes the following files: spear-common, sunxi-common, mv-common, ti_armv7_common, tegra-common, at91-sama5_common, and zynq-common. - Boards that relied on <arch/soc>_common.h values of CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT were not updated in their respective defconfig files under the assumption that since they did not explicitly define a value, they're fine with whatever the default is. - On the other hand, boards that relied on a value defined in some <boards>_common.h file such as woodburn_common, rpi-common, bur_am335x_common, ls2085a_common, siemens_am33x_common, and omap3_evm_common, had their values moved to the respective defconfig files. - The define V_PROMPT was removed, since it is not used anywhere except for assigning a value for CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT. * Move defaults from config_cmd_default.h to KconfigJoe Hershberger2015-06-251-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | This sets the default commands Kconfig to match include/config_cmd_default.h commands in the common/Kconfig and removes them from include/configs. * Move default y configs out of arch/board KconfigJoe Hershberger2015-06-251-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Some archs/boards specify their own default by pre-defining the config which causes the Kconfig system to mix up the order of the configs in the defconfigs... This will cause merge pain if allowed to proliferate. Remove the configs that behave this way from the archs. A few configs still remain, but that is because they only exist as defaults and do not have a proper Kconfig entry. * Clean all defconfigs with savedefconfigJoe Hershberger2015-05-121-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | In order to reduce merge conflicts and to maintain the simplest possible defconfig files, we should be using the savedefconfig feature of Kconfig every time a new feature is added. This keeps the defconfig settings to a minimum (only those things not default) and keeps them in the same order as the Kconfig options. * ARM: vf610: Initial integration for Colibri VF50/VF61Sanchayan Maity2015-04-231-0/+3
This adds initial support for Colibri VF50/VF61 based on Freescale Vybrid SoC. - CPU clocked at 396/500 MHz - DDR3 at 396MHz - for VF50, use PLL2 as memory clock (synchronous mode) - for VF61, use PLL1 as memory clock (asynchronous mode) - Console on UART0 (Colibri UART_A) - Ethernet on FEC1 - PLL5 based RMII clocking (E.g. No external crystal) - UART_A and UART_C I/O muxing - Boot from NAND by default Tested on Colibri VF50/VF61 booting using serial loader over UART.
