From 1da177e4c3f41524e886b7f1b8a0c1fc7321cac2 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Linus Torvalds Date: Sat, 16 Apr 2005 15:20:36 -0700 Subject: Linux-2.6.12-rc2 Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip! --- include/asm-alpha/processor.h | 118 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 1 file changed, 118 insertions(+) create mode 100644 include/asm-alpha/processor.h (limited to 'include/asm-alpha/processor.h') diff --git a/include/asm-alpha/processor.h b/include/asm-alpha/processor.h new file mode 100644 index 000000000000..059780a7d3d7 --- /dev/null +++ b/include/asm-alpha/processor.h @@ -0,0 +1,118 @@ +/* + * include/asm-alpha/processor.h + * + * Copyright (C) 1994 Linus Torvalds + */ + +#ifndef __ASM_ALPHA_PROCESSOR_H +#define __ASM_ALPHA_PROCESSOR_H + +#include /* for ADDR_LIMIT_32BIT */ + +/* + * Returns current instruction pointer ("program counter"). + */ +#define current_text_addr() \ + ({ void *__pc; __asm__ ("br %0,.+4" : "=r"(__pc)); __pc; }) + +/* + * We have a 42-bit user address space: 4TB user VM... + */ +#define TASK_SIZE (0x40000000000UL) + +/* This decides where the kernel will search for a free chunk of vm + * space during mmap's. + */ +#define TASK_UNMAPPED_BASE \ + ((current->personality & ADDR_LIMIT_32BIT) ? 0x40000000 : TASK_SIZE / 2) + +typedef struct { + unsigned long seg; +} mm_segment_t; + +/* This is dead.
