* [PATCH] x86: PARAVIRT: add hooks to intercept mm creation and destructionJeremy Fitzhardinge2007-05-021-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add hooks to allow a paravirt implementation to track the lifetime of an mm. Paravirtualization requires three hooks, but only two are needed in common code. They are: arch_dup_mmap, which is called when a new mmap is created at fork arch_exit_mmap, which is called when the last process reference to an mm is dropped, which typically happens on exit and exec. The third hook is activate_mm, which is called from the arch-specific activate_mm() macro/function, and so doesn't need stub versions for other architectures. It's called when an mm is first used. * [PATCH] include/asm-h8300/: "extern inline" -> "static inline"Adrian Bunk2006-12-071-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | "extern inline" generates a warning with -Wmissing-prototypes and I'm currently working on getting the kernel cleaned up for adding this to the CFLAGS since it will help us to avoid a nasty class of runtime errors. If there are places that really need a forced inline, __always_inline would be the correct solution. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
