| | | | * | ARM: restart: remove the now empty arch_reset()Russell King2012-01-051-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Remove the now empty arch_reset() from all the mach/system.h includes, and remove its callsite. Remove arm_machine_restart() as this function no longer does anything useful. For samsung platforms, remove the include of mach/system-reset.h and plat/system-reset.h from their respective mach/system.h headers as these just define their arch_reset functions. As a result, the s3c2410 and plat-samsung system-reset.h files are no longer referenced, so remove these files entirely. | | | | * | ARM: 7257/1: EXYNOS: introduce arch/arm/mach-exynos/common.[ch]Kukjin Kim2012-01-031-11/+1
| | | | |/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch introduces common.[ch] which are used only in the arch/arm/mach-exynos/ directory. The common.c file merges the cpu.c, init.c, irq-combiner.c and irq-eint.c files which are used commonly on EXYNOS SoCs and the common.h file replaces with plat/exynos4.h file. | * | ARM: SAMSUNG: Move timer irq numbers to end of linux irq spaceThomas Abraham2011-12-232-4/+5
| |/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The timer irqs statically mapped from linux irq numbers 11 to 15 are moved to the end of the statically mapped linux irq space. The GIC PPI and SPI interrupts are relocated to start from 16 and 32 of the linux irq space. This is a required to add device tree support for GIC and Interrupt combiner for EXYNOS4. A new macro 'IRQ_TIMER_BASE' specifies a platform specific base of the linux virq number for the timer interrupts. For exynos4, this base is set to end of the linux virq space. For the other S5P platforms, the existing base '11' is retained. Signed-off-by: Thomas Abraham <thomas.abraham@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>

* ARM: EXYNOS: Add ARCH_EXYNOS and reorganize arch/arm/mach-exynosKukjin Kim2011-11-0627-0/+1719
The arch/arm/mach-exynos4 directory (CONFIG_ARCH_EXYNOS4) has made for plaforms based on EXYNOS4 SoCs. But since upcoming Samsung's SoCs such as EXYNOS5 (ARM Cortex A15) can reuse most codes in current mach-exynos4, one mach-exynos directory will be used for them. This patch changes to CONFIG_ARCH_EXYNOS (arch/arm/mach-exynos) but keeps original CONFIG_ARCH_EXYNOS4 in mach-exynos/Kconfig to avoid changing in driver side.
