Original kcs_bmc_npcm7xx.c was missing enabling to send interrupt to the
host on writes to output buffer.
This patch fixes it by setting the bits that enables the generation of
IRQn events by hardware control based on the status of the OBF flag.

[This is is not the same commit as upstream, as the changes to use new
type '__poll_t' from linux-4.16-rc1 are not included. This was done
because the feature is not a small self contained backport.  There is no
impact on functionality for dev-4.13]

This driver exposes the Keyboard Controller Style (KCS) interface on
Novoton NPCM7xx SoCs as a character device. Such SOCs are commonly used
as a BaseBoard Management Controller (BMC) on a server board, and KCS
interface is commonly used to perform the in-band IPMI communication
between the server and its BMC.

The KCS (Keyboard Controller Style) interface is used to perform in-band
IPMI communication between a server host and its BMC (BaseBoard Management
Controllers).

This driver exposes the KCS interface on ASpeed SOCs (AST2400 and AST2500)
as a character device. Such SOCs are commonly used as BMCs and this driver
implements the BMC side of the KCS interface.

Provides a device driver for the KCS (Keyboard Controller Style)

This is the DRM tree that was merged into the mainline 4.14 kernel. The
ASPEED GFX DRM driver requires functionaliy that was included in this
tree, so we merge it back into the 4.13 OpenBMC tree.

This should have no impact on other parts of the BMC.

When I set the timeout to a specific value such as 500ms, the timeout
event will not happen in time due to the overflow in function
check_msg_timeout:
...
	ent-&gt;timeout -= timeout_period;
	if (ent-&gt;timeout &gt; 0)
		return;
...

The type of timeout_period is long, but ent-&gt;timeout is unsigned long.
This patch makes the type consistent.

tpm_transmit() does not offer an explicit interface to indicate the number
of valid bytes in the communication buffer. Instead, it relies on the
commandSize field in the TPM header that is encoded within the buffer.
Therefore, ensure that a) enough data has been written to the buffer, so
that the commandSize field is present and b) the commandSize field does not
announce more data than has been written to the buffer.

This should have been fixed with CVE-2011-1161 long ago, but apparently
a correct version of that patch never made it into the kernel.

<title>random: fix warning message on ia64 and parisc</title>

Fix the warning message on the parisc and IA64 architectures to show the
correct function name of the caller by using %pS instead of %pF. The
message is printed with the value of _RET_IP_ which calls
__builtin_return_address(0) and as such returns the IP address caller
instead of pointer to a function descriptor of the caller.

The effect of this patch is visible on the parisc and ia64 architectures
only since those are the ones which use function descriptors while on
all others %pS and %pF will behave the same.
