* Support multiple nodes in HBRT - Update FunctionsMarty Gloff2018-04-053-34/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Existing targeting functions were written to support a single node implementation. There are functions currently linked to HBRT, but not needed by HBRT that break with the multiple nodes support. Those functions will be compiled out of HBRT. * Code restruct: ring_applyClaus Michael Olsen2018-04-052-1/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - Consolidating the three <ppe>_image_ring_generation functions into a single shared, and renamed, ring_section_generation function, - Moving several data centric functions into common_ringId API, - Use of sizeof(<type or var>) instead of hardcoded assumptions about structure or data type sizes, - Renaming of variables which makes sense in the context of the scope of this commit, such as: - ringBuffer renamed to ringSection - ringBufSize renamed to ringSectionSize and type changed to uint32_t - Removes the backward compatibility to TORV3/V4 and now only works with latest TOR version, i.e. 6 at this point. About the Hw_ImageBuild_Prereq: - 51511 must have fully propagated into all repos and drivers used in FSP CI tests before this commit (43175) can be merged. 43175 removes the TORV3/V4 backwards compatibility to support TOR ring sections that have TOR level DD coordination. We still haven't determined WHY we are seeing the mutex locked after an MPIPL but just to be safe we are now looping through all of the targets and checking each attribute to see if it is of type hbmutex. If it is then we will call mutex_init on the mutex to reset it so the mutex is ready to use. * Force single-threaded access to HWPs in PRDDan Crowell2018-03-161-1/+35
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Hostboot does not support thread local storage, however several HWPs use this concept. Specifically the memory HWPs use it for their c_str() function that prints out target strings. If these HWPs are called in multiple threads there is a chance of a buffer overrun that leads to a crash. The fix is to create a new INVOKE-style macro that befores the same mutex lock as a regular FAPI_INVOKE_HWP call. * Clear FCO deconfigures before applying gard recordsNick Bofferding2018-03-011-1/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When an EX is deconfigured, its parent EQ is deconfigured by association if all resources under it happen to be deconfigured, even if some of those resources are FCO deconfigures. Later, FCO deconfigures are removed to determine a new FCO allocation. If an FCO resource is allocated under that deconfigured EQ, the system may not boot, as those resources will appear to be orphaned. This change reorders FCO/gard processing to clear the FCO deconfigures, apply gard records, then allocate FCO resources, so that the EQ in the noted scenario remains configured, allowing child FCO resources to be used. * Error when hb tries to access reserved memory past limitIlya Smirnov2018-02-142-10/+33
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | An issue has recently occurred when hb reserved memory past the allowed limit (256M-4K) and overwrote some of the PHYP memory, which caused bugs that were difficult to debug. This change is to check the memory address we are trying to reserve and throw an error if the address is at or above the allowed limit. We only execute this check if PHYP is running and only on components not belonging to PHYP (PHYP components may be placed outside of the limit). * Update utilDeallocateTces and other TCE CleanupMike Baiocchi2018-02-131-6/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This commit removes the size parameter from utilDeallocateTces() as we should be able to use the token parameter to get back the saved size of the region. This commit also cleans up some other minor TCE issues and even fixes one I2C trace.
