* package/libmad: don't install .pc in targetYann E. MORIN2017-09-281-6/+0
| | | | | | | | | | We explicitly remove pkg-config files from target in the target-finalize step, and our pkg-config looks for .pc files from staging, not target. So, explicitly installing the .pc in target is useless. Signed-off-by: "Yann E. MORIN" <yann.morin.1998@free.fr> Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <peter@korsgaard.com>
* package/lib*: fix wrapping of Config.in help textAdam Duskett2017-07-311-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The check-package script when ran gives warnings on text wrapping on all of these Config files. This patch cleans up all warnings related to the text wrapping for the Config files starting with lib in the package directory. The appropriate indentation is: <tab><2 spaces><62 chars> See http://nightly.buildroot.org/#writing-rules-config-in for more information. * libmad: add security patch from debianPeter Korsgaard2017-07-042-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Fixes: CVE-2017-8372 - The mad_layer_III function in layer3.c in Underbit MAD libmad 0.15.1b, if NDEBUG is omitted, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (assertion failure and application exit) via a crafted audio file. CVE-2017-8373 - The mad_layer_III function in layer3.c in Underbit MAD libmad 0.15.1b allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (heap-based buffer overflow and application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted audio file. CVE-2017-8374 - The mad_bit_skip function in bit.c in Underbit MAD libmad 0.15.1b allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (heap-based buffer over-read and application crash) via a crafted audio file. * package/l*/Config.in: fix ordering of statementsAdam Duskett2017-05-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The check-package script when ran gives warnings on ordering issues on all of these Config files. This patch cleans up all warnings related to the ordering in the Config files for packages starting with the letter l in the package directory. The appropriate ordering is: type, default, depends on, select, help See http://nightly.buildroot.org/#_config_files for more information. * boot, linux, package: use SPDX short identifier for GPLv2/GPLv2+Rahul Bedarkar2017-04-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | We want to use SPDX identifier for license strings as much as possible. SPDX short identifier for GPLv2/GPLv2+ is GPL-2.0/GPL-2.0+. This change is done by using following command. find . -name "*.mk" | xargs sed -ri '/LICENSE( )?[\+:]?=/s/\<GPLv2\>/GPL-2.0/g' Signed-off-by: Rahul Bedarkar <rahulbedarkar89@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@free-electrons.com>
* libmad: disable ASO support for thumb-only ARM coresPeter Korsgaard2017-01-081-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | Fixes: http://autobuild.buildroot.net/results/8d4/8d4ea8613487297f2c33f3b9cbd8903cfb96e4c6/ The ARM specific optimizations enabled by LIBMAD_ASO needs classic ARM instructions support, so disable for thumb-only cores. * package: add hashes for SourceForge-hosted packagesYann E. MORIN2014-12-281-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since SourceForge sometimes serves us faulty tarballs, we can tons of autobuild failures: http://autobuild.buildroot.org/results/9fb/9fba5bf086a4e7a29e5f7156ec43847db7aacfc4/ http://autobuild.buildroot.org/results/6c8/6c837b244c45ac3b3a887734a371cd6d226cf216/ ... Fix that by adding hash files for all SourceForge-hosted packages (thos etht did not already have it). We normally prefer to use hashes published by upstream, but hunting them all one by one is a tedious task, so those hashes were all locally computed with a script that searched for SF-hosted packages, downloades the associated tarball, computed the hash, and stored it in the corresponding .hash file. Also, SF publishes sha1 hashes, while I used the stronger sha256, since sha1 is now considered to be relatively weak. Signed-off-by: "Yann E. * libmad: Add optimization config optionsBenoît Thébaudeau2012-07-132-1/+46
| | | | | | | | | | Configuring libmad with --enable-speed compromises accuracy and can cause audio clipping in some cases (heard on ARM platform with some loud MP3s), so give users the choice of MAD optimizations.
