Since things are no longer installed in $(HOST_DIR)/usr, the callers should also not refer to it. Remove the redundant usr/ component of the HOST_DIR paths. Since a previous commit added a symlink from $(HOST_DIR)/usr to $(HOST_DIR), everything keeps on working. Remove getchar() patch which has been applied upstream. Add recommanded post-release patch from upstream to fix 64-bit atomic operations on 32-bit x86 with gcc versions older than 4.7.
