From 733482e445ca4450cf41381b1c95e2b8c7145114 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Olaf Hering Date: Tue, 8 Nov 2005 21:34:55 -0800 Subject: [PATCH] changing CONFIG_LOCALVERSION rebuilds too much, for no good reason This patch removes almost all inclusions of linux/version.h. The 3 #defines are unused in most of the touched files. A few drivers use the simple KERNEL_VERSION(a,b,c) macro, which is unfortunatly in linux/version.h. There are also lots of #ifdef for long obsolete kernels, this was not touched. In a few places, the linux/version.h include was move to where the LINUX_VERSION_CODE was used. quilt vi `find * -type f -name "*.[ch]"|xargs grep -El '(UTS_RELEASE|LINUX_VERSION_CODE|KERNEL_VERSION|linux/version.h)'|grep -Ev '(/(boot|coda|drm)/|~$)'` search pattern: /UTS_RELEASE\|LINUX_VERSION_CODE\|KERNEL_VERSION\|linux\/\(utsname\|version\).h Signed-off-by: Olaf Hering Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds --- fs/xfs/xfs.h | 7 ------- 1 file changed, 7 deletions(-) (limited to 'fs/xfs/xfs.h') diff --git a/fs/xfs/xfs.h b/fs/xfs/xfs.h index 99b50d2bda9b..1a48dbb902a7 100644 --- a/fs/xfs/xfs.h +++ b/fs/xfs/xfs.h @@ -17,12 +17,5 @@ */ #ifndef __XFS_H__ #define __XFS_H__ - -#include -#if LINUX_VERSION_CODE >= KERNEL_VERSION(2,6,0) #include -#else -#include -#endif - #endif /* __XFS_H__ */ -- cgit v1.2.1
