* [PATCH] sleep: Fix oops in enter_statePavel Machek2005-11-091-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | If ACPI sleep is not configured, but someone still wants to run swsusp, he'd get oops in enter_state. This is regression since 2.6.14 and this fixes it. * [PATCH] introduce .valid callback for pm_opsShaohua Li2005-10-301-1/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | Add pm_ops.valid callback, so only the available pm states show in /sys/power/state. And this also makes an earlier states error report at enter_state before we do actual suspend/resume. * | [PATCH] suspend/resume SMP supportLi Shaohua2005-06-251-6/+10
|/ | | | | | | | | | Using CPU hotplug to support suspend/resume SMP. Both S3 and S4 use disable/enable_nonboot_cpus API. The S4 part is based on Pavel's original S4 SMP patch. * [PATCH] Driver Core: pm diagnostics update, check for errorsDavid Brownell2005-05-171-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch includes various tweaks in the messaging that appears during system pm state transitions: * Warn about certain illegal calls in the device tree, like resuming child before parent or suspending parent before child. This could happen easily enough through sysfs, or in some cases when drivers use device_pm_set_parent(). * Be more consistent about dev_dbg() tracing ... do it for resume() and shutdown() too, and never if the driver doesn't have that method. * Say which type of system sleep state is being entered. Except for the warnings, these only affect debug messaging. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
