* ppc32: move some dma routinesStephen Rothwell2005-11-191-10/+0
| | | | | | | Every other architecture define dma_cache_{inv,wback,wback_inv} in asm/io.h and doing so brings us closer to ppc64. Signed-off-by: Stephen Rothwell <sfr@canb.auug.org.au>

* [PATCH] gfp flags annotations - part 1Al Viro2005-10-081-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | - added typedef unsigned int __nocast gfp_t; - replaced __nocast uses for gfp flags with gfp_t - it gives exactly the same warnings as far as sparse is concerned, doesn't change generated code (from gcc point of view we replaced unsigned int with typedef) and documents what's going on far better. * [PATCH] ppc32: fix asm-ppc/dma-mapping.h sparse warningChristoph Hellwig2005-09-051-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | GFP flags must be passed as unisgned int __nocast these days, else we'll get tons of sparse warnings in every driver. Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
* [PATCH] ppc32: fix dma_map_page() to use page_to_bus()Matt Porter2005-07-271-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | The following trivial patch changes dma_map_page() to use page_to_bus() instead of open-coding it (incorrectly in some cases). Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
