* [ARM] 4988/1: Add GPIO lib support to the EP93xxRyan Mallon2008-04-191-17/+4
| | | | | | | | | Adds support for the generic GPIO lib to the EP93xx family. The gpio handling code has been moved from core.c to a new file called gpio.c. The GPIO based IRQ code has not been changed. Signed-off-by: Ryan Mallon <ryan@bluewatersys.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 4671/1: ep93xx: remove obsolete gpio_line_* operationsHerbert Valerio Riedel2008-01-261-19/+0
| | | | | | | | | With the new GPIO methods in place the old gpio_line_* methods are redundant, so this patch finally removes the old legacy gpio_line_* wrappers. * [ARM] 4669/1: ep93xx: simplify GPIO code and cleanupsHerbert Valerio Riedel2008-01-262-21/+12
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch renumbers the (virtual) GPIO line numbering to have all irq-capable gpio lines <= EP93XX_GPIO_LINE_MAX_IRQ by swapping the port f range with the port c range; This simplifies code such as #define IRQ_EP93XX_GPIO(x) (64 + (((x) + (((x) >> 2) & 8)) & 0x1f)) or if (line >= 0 && line < 16) { /* Port A/B */ } else if (line >= 40 && line < 48) { /* Port F */ } considerably; in addition to the renumbering this patch also introduces macro constants EP93XX_GPIO_LINE_MAX_IRQ and EP93XX_GPIO_LINE_MAX, and replaces most magic numbers by those and invocations of gpio_to_irq()/irq_to_gpio(). * [ARM] 4668/1: ep93xx: implement new GPIO APIHerbert Valerio Riedel2008-01-261-10/+66
| | | | | | | | | | Implement new GPIO API for ep93xx platform as defined in Documentation/gpio.txt and provide transitional __deprecated wrappers for the previous gpio_line_* functions. | * [ARM] 4185/2: entry: introduce get_irqnr_preamble and arch_ret_to_userDan Williams2007-02-171-0/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | get_irqnr_preamble allows machines to take some action before entering the get_irqnr_and_base loop. On iop we enable cp6 access. arch_ret_to_user is added to the userspace return path to allow individual architectures to take actions, like disabling coprocessor access, before the final return to userspace. Per Nicolas Pitre's note, there is no need to cp_wait on the return to user as the latency to return is sufficient. * [PATCH] Cirrus Logic ep93xx ethernet driverLennert Buytenhek2006-09-222-0/+7
| | | | | | | | The Cirrus Logic ep93xx is an ARM SoC that includes an ethernet MAC -- this patch adds a driver for that ethernet MAC. Signed-off-by: Lennert Buytenhek <buytenh@wantstofly.org> Signed-off-by: Jeff Garzik <jeff@garzik.org>

| | | | | | | | | | | Patch from Lennert Buytenhek Add an initial implementation of the clk_* API for the cirrus ep93xx to the tree. The initial implementation is somewhat minimal, with the intention of extending it as we go along. * [ARM] Fix decompressor serial IO to give CRLF not LFCRRussell King2006-03-281-8/+2

* [ARM] 3414/1: ep93xx: reset ethernet controller before uncompressingLennert Buytenhek2006-03-261-1/+39
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Patch from Lennert Buytenhek The Redboot version that cirrus supplies for the cirrus ep93xx doesn't turn off DMA from the ethernet MAC before jumping to linux, which means that we might end up with bits of RX status and packet data scribbled over the uncompressed kernel image. Work around this by resetting the ethernet MAC before we uncompress. We don't usually work around bootloader bugs, but considering that the large majority of ep93xx boards out there have this problem, I figured this it was justified in this case. * [ARM] 3369/1: ep93xx: add core cirrus ep93xx supportLennert Buytenhek2006-03-2115-0/+500
Patch from Lennert Buytenhek This patch adds support for the Cirrus ep93xx series of CPUs. The ep93xx is an ARM920T based CPU with two VICs, PL010 based UARTs, IrDA, MaverickCrunch floating point coprocessor, between 24 and 64 GPIOs, ethernet, OHCI USB and, depending on the model, pcmcia, raster engine, graphics accelerator, IDE controller and a bunch of other stuff. This patch adds the core ep93xx support code, and support for the Glomation GESBC-9312-sx and the Technologic Systems TS-72xx SBCs.
