* video: move fbdev to drivers/video/fbdevTomi Valkeinen2014-04-171-104/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The drivers/video directory is a mess. It contains generic video related files, directories for backlight, console, linux logo, lots of fbdev device drivers, fbdev framework files. Make some order into the chaos by creating drivers/video/fbdev directory, and move all fbdev related files there. No functionality is changed, although I guess it is possible that some subtle Makefile build order related issue could be created by this patch. * fbdev: change asm/uaccess.h to linux/uaccess.hKrzysztof Helt2007-10-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | This patch replaces <asm/uaccess.h> with <linux/uaccess.h> after the checkpatch.pl hint. The include of <asm/uaccess.h> is removed if the driver does not use it. * fbdev: add fb_read/fb_write functions for framebuffers in system RAMAntonino A. Daplas2007-05-081-0/+104
The functions fb_read() and fb_write in fbmem.c assume that the framebuffer is in IO memory. However, we have 3 drivers (hecubafb, arcfb, and vfb) where the framebuffer is allocated from system RAM (via vmalloc). Using __raw_read/__raw_write (fb_readl/fb_writel) for these drivers is illegal, especially in other platforms. Create file read and write methods for these types of drivers. These are named fb_sys_read() and fb_sys_write().
