* [SCSI] ibmvscsi: Remove backend abstractionBenjamin Herrenschmidt2012-09-241-5/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Now that the iSeries code is gone the backend abstraction in this driver is no longer necessary, which allows us to consolidate the driver in one file. The side effect is that the module name is now ibmvscsi.ko which matches the driver hotplug name and fixes auto-load issues. * powerpc: remove the legacy iSeries part of ibmvscsiStephen Rothwell2012-03-091-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | The PowerPC legacy iSeries platform is being removed and this code is no longer selectable. There is more clean up that can be done, but this just gets the old code out of the way. Cc: "James E.J. * [SCSI] ibmvfc: IBM Power Virtual Fibre Channel Adapter Client DriverBrian King2008-07-121-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | This patch adds a new device driver to support the Virtual Fibre Channel interface on IBM Power based servers. The Virtual I/O Server on IBM Power servers utilizes N-Port ID Virtualization to export a Virtual Fibre Channel adapter to the client. This driver is the client device driver. * [SCSI] Fix ibmvscsi client for multiplatform iSeries+pSeries kernelDavid Woodhouse2007-10-121-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | If you build a multiplatform kernel for iSeries and pSeries, with ibmvscsic support, the resulting client doesn't work on iSeries. This fixes that, using the appropriate low-level operations for the machine detected at runtime. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
