* pinctrl: vt8500: Change devicetree data parsingTony Prisk2014-02-031-1/+14
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Due to an assumption in the VT8500 pinctrl driver, the value passed from devicetree for 'wm,pull' was not explicitly translated before being passed to pinconf. Since v3.10, changes to 'enum pin_config_param', PIN_CONFIG_BIAS_PULL_(UP/DOWN) no longer map 1-to-1 with the expected values in devicetree. This patch adds a small translation between the devicetree values (0..2) and the enum pin_config_param equivalent values. * gpio/pinctrl: make gpio_chip members typed booleanLinus Walleij2013-12-041-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | This switches the two members of struct gpio_chip that were defined as unsigned foo:1 to bool, because that is indeed what they are. Switch all users in the gpio and pinctrl subsystems to assign these values with true/false instead of 0/1. The users outside these subsystems will survive since true/false is 1/0, atleast we set some kind of more strict typing example. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
* pinctrl: Pass all configs to driver on pin_config_set()Sherman Yin2013-08-281-24/+30
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When setting pin configuration in the pinctrl framework, pin_config_set() or pin_config_group_set() is called in a loop to set one configuration at a time for the specified pin or group. This patch 1) removes the loop and 2) changes the API to pass the whole pin config array to the driver. It is now up to the driver to loop through the configs. This allows the driver to potentially combine configs and reduce the number of writes to pin config registers. All c files changed have been build-tested to verify the change compiles and that the corresponding .o is successfully generated. * pinctrl: vt8500: wmt: remove redundant dev_err call in wmt_pinctrl_probe()Wei Yongjun2013-06-271-3/+1
| | | | | | | | | | There is a error message within devm_ioremap_resource already, so remove the dev_err call to avoid redundant error message. * pinctrl: vt8500: Fix incorrect data in WM8750 pinctrl tableTony Prisk2013-05-141-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | WMT_PIN_WAKEUP1 should be declared as WMT_PIN(0, 17) rather than WMT_PIN(0, 16). This currently generates a runtime warning because WMT_PIN_WAKEUP0 is already defined as WMT_PIN(0, 16). * pinctrl: gpio: vt8500: Add pincontrol driver for arch-vt8500Tony Prisk2013-04-049-0/+2971
This patch adds support for the GPIO/pinmux controller found on the VIA VT8500 and Wondermedia WM8xxx-series SoCs. Each pin within the controller is capable of operating as a GPIO or as an alternate function. The pins are numbered according to their control bank/bit so that if new pins are added, the existing numbering is maintained. All currently supported SoCs are included: VT8500, WM8505, WM8650, WM8750 and WM8850.
