* wl1271: 11n Support, functionality and configuration abilityShahar Levi2010-11-151-0/+10
| | | | | | | | | | Add 11n ability in scan, connection and using MCS rates. The configuration is temporary due to the code incomplete and still in testing process. That plans to be remove in the future. Signed-off-by: Shahar Levi <shahar_levi@ti.com> Reviewed-by: Luciano Coelho <luciano.coelho@nokia.com> Signed-off-by: Luciano Coelho <luciano.coelho@nokia.com>
* wl1251: move to it's own directoryKalle Valo2010-10-111-34/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | wl1271 driver is under heavy development but on the other hand the older wl1251 driver is currently considered more as a legacy driver. To make it easier to develop wl1271 features move wl1251 to it's own directory, drivers/net/wireless/wl1251. There are no functional changes, only moving of files. One regression is that Kconfig won't be updated automatically and user needs to enable wl1251 manually with an older config file. Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@adurom.com> Signed-off-by: John W. * wl12xx: add platform data passing supportOhad Ben-Cohen2010-09-211-1/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add a simple mechanism to pass platform data to the SDIO instances of wl12xx. This way there is no confusion over who owns the 'embedded data', typechecking is preserved, and no possibility for the wrong driver to pick up the data. Originally proposed by Russell King. * wl1271: the core wl1271 module shouldn't depend on SPI_MASTERLuciano Coelho2010-06-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | The core wl1271 module can also be used with SDIO, so it should not depend on SPI_MASTER. Signed-off-by: Luciano Coelho <luciano.coelho@nokia.com> Reviewed-by: Juuso Oikarinen <juuso.oikarinen@nokia.com> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>

* wl1271: Changed wl1271_sdio to be selectable only on ARMTeemu Paasikivi2010-03-101-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | As wl1271_sdio implementation depends on ARM GPIO impelementation it is not directly usable on other architectures at the moment. * wl12xx: add driverKalle Valo2009-05-061-0/+11
wl12xx is a driver for TI wl1251 802.11 chipset designed for embedded devices, supporting both SDIO and SPI busses. Currently the driver supports only SPI. Adding support 1253 (the 5 GHz version) should be relatively easy.
